Fans gave their reaction on the story on Parminder Basran’s potential takeover of Bolton Wanderers collapsing with the club face a winding-up order at court tomorrow, majority sad and worried at the situation…
very sad that the EFL are just gonna stand there and watch a team like Bolton Wanderers potentially get liquidated by next week, they should be doing everything to stop this from happening.

Really hope this gets sorted. How the @FA and @EFL have let this get to this point, and even have the potential for this to happen shows they don’t care about anything except lining their own pockets, corrupt outdated organisation. Any other business would be held accountable.

So when will they actually check who is a fit and proper owner like they're supposed to? Too many dodgy owners about now

Come on @FA @EFL it’s one thing grassroots clubs being liquidated but, an moderate sized professional football club? That’s just beyond a joke! You can’t let this happen! #SaveBWFC

What a total farce this all is…

Others are stunned at how it’s allowed to happen that one of the EFL’s founding clubs is potentially going under…
Another winding up order issued against Bolton Wanderers.
They could be liquidated by the end of the week.
Bolton are a founder member of the Football League. How is this still allowed to happen in our game?

Bolton Wanderers, the founder member of the football league is about go into liquidation. If this is allowed to happen the whole of the football will have failed. #SaveBoltonWanderers

I don’t get it . The game has never been more awash with money but a grand club like Bolton Wanderers face going out of business. When you think of the number of people who will be affected surely the EFL should step in do whatever it takes to keep the club afloat.

Too many of these charlatans sail through the 'fit and proper person', take over a club, run it into the ground, bleed it dry, then simply walk away, usually self-pitying and delusional, leaving the fans to pick up the mess they leave behind. FA, Football League – both culpable.

It's so sad to see fans from other teams hoping they go bust. To see your club on the verge of folding is heartbreaking. It shows there is something drastically wrong with the #FA and #FootballLeague fit and proper person test.
