The moment Brandon Williams realises Christian Eriksen rugby-tackled him is just hilarious

The moment Brandon Williams realises Christian Eriksen rugby-tackled him is just hilarious with a million views racking up within an hour.

Norwich full-back Williams was initially furious after a Brentford player brought him to the ground, but he soon forgave the person involved after realising it was Christian Eriksen.

The incident came in the first-half of Saturday’s Premier League clash at Carrow Road with the scoreline at 1-0 to the away side before Brentford stormed to a 3-0 lead then Pukki got a consolation goal in injury time.

Williams, who is currently on a season-long loan at the Canaries from Man Utd, managed to knock the ball past Eriksen in the 39th minute. The Danish international, however, didn’t want him to speed off.

Williams then fell down and grabbed the shirt of Eriksen in anger. But after realising it was the former Tottenham midfielder.

Eriksen started for the first time since his cardiac arrest last summer, completing a move back to the Premier League and received a standing ovation when coming on as a sub for his first appearance, against Newcastle in the 52nd minute.

Magpies players also showed their respect, applauding the Danish midfielder onto the pitch.

“My goal is to play in the World Cup in Qatar. I want to play,” Eriksen told Danish outlet DR. “That’s been my mindset all along. It’s a goal, a dream. Whether I’ll be picked is another thing. But it’s my dream to come back.

“I’m sure I can come back because I don’t feel any different.

“Physically, I’m back in top shape. That’s been my goal and it’s still some time away, so until then I’m just going to play football and prove that I’m back at the same level.”

Brentford manager Thomas Frank speaking to BBC Sport, on hat-trick scorer Ivan Toney: “I have said this before but for me Ivan Toney is the best penalty taker in the world at this moment in time.”

On Christian Eriksen’s full debut: “Good to see him out there playing 90 minutes. It was top delivery for the first goal. There were top passes when he tried to find players in behind. You can see there’s more to come from him which is a positive.

“It’s never down to one of two players, it’s the team. The team knows that. But of course every team needs their best players. We missed Toney, and the quality and the ability Christian gives us is a big plus.

“The fans today were amazing, you could hear them from the off to the end. Loud, singing, cheering and we need that. It’s about whether together we can push forward.”
