TAA vents at the referee, Alisson was left frustrated by tactics used by Nottingham Forest and Gary Neville mocks Liverpool.
Trent Alexander-Arnold could be seen visibly frustrated with match officials after the final whistle, seen on the TV cameras, although it’s not clear whether he was venting at.
Liverpool can’t have too many complaints with the result, the performance was poor, but match official Oliver was criticised for his own performance, accused of being far too lenient when it came to fouls by Forest captain Ryan Yates.
Alexander-Arnold went from struggling with his crossing range to be moved into the centre of midfield after Alexis Mac Allister was taken off on the hour mark.
The Liverpool collapsed just over 10 minutes later with Hudson-Odoi seeing his curled strike go straight into the far corner.

Alisson was spoke to the media after the game.
Interviewer: What was more frustrating about today? Because you guys had a lot of chances and they created nothing in the first half, and then in the second half they managed to find the goal. So what was more frustrating in the performance?
Alisson: Losing a game at home in front of our supporters, I think is the most frustrating thing for us. And a game that we played better than the opponent. We didn’t deserve to lose this game, but football is like that. Sometimes you give just half chance and the opponent has scored and then you have to run against the time. But the way they defend, as you said, in the first half they just defended, kick long balls. Second half, I think with their changes we didn’t adapt quick enough. So we concede three counter-attacks before we concede a goal on a counter-attack. So we should defend it better on those situations. We should have finished the counter-attack up front, and then when the ball is deeper, you have to defend better in front of your box, being more aggressive. Hudson-Odoi had too much freedom to do whatever he wanted with the ball. Dribbling inside and shooting was a poor defending from us. But we have to improve for the next games.

Gary Neville was also on the wind up, saying in a video uploaded to his social media:.Well, what a football weekend. United win. Salford win. And the big one, Liverpool lose. *laughs* Beautiful weekend.

This was a historic win for Forest. They won four consecutive away Premier League matches for the first time since March/April 1995, with today’s win their first at Anfield in the league since February 1969.
Liverpool boss Arne Slot, speaking to BBC Radio 5 Live: “Disappointing.
“Without the ball we did what we had to do, we hardly conceded any counter-attacks except from the one that led to the goal.
“What we have to do better is when you have 70% ball possession, you need to create more chances than what we did.
“It would help if some individual performances would have been better.”
Liverpool manager Arne Slot: “The result frustrates the most and we cannot be hapy about how the game went. It was a stop-start game and we harldy created any chances.
“We only have to look at ourselves, we have to be better. Far too many times we lost the ball around the area, it was not good enough. We have to be better with the ball.
“Our decisions and execution wasn’t good enough. In general we defended quite well but the two fast players came on and made it difficult. We took a lot of risk and in the end it was a very good goal.”
On the international break affecting Liverpool’s performance: “I don’t like to use those excuses. You have to give credit to Forest, well organised and a good game-plan.
“We have to find better options than what we found today with the low block of Nottingham Forest.”
“It was a stop-start game, we didn’t create many chances”

Nottingham Forest boss Nuno Espirito Santo, speaking to BBC Radio 5 Live: “Realising Liverpool are such a good team it required a lot of effort from the players, the organisation, tackling and the cover.
“The only way to achieve anything here is if you are organised and do everything that you can.
“When you start the way we started with our wingers, Nico Dominguez and Elliot Anderson – all the effort of them tracking Liverpool’s full-backs it is a lot of energy.
“The team needed fresh legs and they played well.
“We are working hard and it is about building and believing in this idea that you can develop.”
Nuno: “The players did it so well, we were against the ropes but we stayed in the game and found our moment. I am really happy for the boys.
“Liverpool are so good, you cannot play them and ignore the quality they have. Defensively we were really good. It was impossible for our wingers to last 90 minutes, they had to track the runners so we needed fresh legs in the second half.
“We played well, we controlled the game in the right moments and harmed them. This is a moment to enjoy for our fans. It doesn’t last long but our fans are amazing and this is a big help for the players.”
Nottingham Forest captain Ryan Yates: “We set out with a gameplan and stuck to it brilliantly, the manager made changes at the right time and they made an impact!
“The manager gives us belief every day that we are good enough anywhere we go. We respect the opponents but we really showed our quality. The crowd can be powerful here so we had to have spells of possession and limit our mistakes.”
Nottingham Forest forward Anthony Elanga, speaking to BBC Radio 5 Live: “Since the start of pre-season the atmosphere has been good. We got the new players in early.
“We come here to Liverpool and not many teams can beat them and play the way we did – we got rewarded with it at the end.
“This game reminded of the game we played at Chelsea [Chelsea 0-1 Nottingham Forest], it’s a special win today.
“Me and Callum [Hudson-Odoi] spoke about it on the bench – ‘when we come on we would make a difference’.
“We have started the season well, but we have still got 35 games left – we have to go game-by-game.
“Last season we played the big sides and played well, it was marginal difference and they were clinical – today we were clinical.”
Nottingham Forest goalscorer Callum Hudson-Odoi: “We knew as subs we would come on at a certain point, we had fresh legs to run in behind and cause them problems. The manager told us to make an impact and we are buzzing with the win.
“I saw the space in the far corner and as soon as I hit it I knew there was a good chance of it going in. We started well and we ended well.
“It is a massive win, the atmosphere is crazy. We made sure we had the right mentality from the beginning. 55 years and now it’s done but we can’t rely on this.”
Hudson-Odoi to MOTD: “As the space opened I saw a clear opening for a shot and I was delighted it went in. It’s a massive win and we know it is massive.
“Everyone’s morale is up, we are confident going into every game. We know in our heads the mentality has to be right and we are doing that as a team. The camp is good.
“I didn’t start but I wasn’t angry or disappointed, I am buzzing, we are all buzzing. It’s nice to get the goals but it’s just the start of the season and I can keep getting more.”
here’s how fans reacted as TAA vents at the referee, Alisson is left frustrated by Nottingham Forest tactics and Gary Neville mocks Liverpool…
@JPH_84_NG: Alisson devastated #nffc didn’t go there and play an open and expansive game from the off to give them an easy afternoon.
@spencerw1236: Couldn’t break us down and we had a few decent chances ourselfs we defended well and scored a goal we deserved it hold #lfc #nffc
@User1055: Liverpool players just need to admit they lost the game it’s always ‘we came to play football they didn’t’ & ‘we were better’ all that copium shit needs to stop
@ForestNotSoMag: You did not play better than us, yeah you went forward more but your forwards couldn’t do anything, therefore you subbed them off allowing us more flexibility, so nuno made good subs
@VimFuego87: So. In summary, opposition defence turns up and has temerity to be better at defending than home side AND scored more goals than said home side. Isn’t that how it’s supposed to work you fucking twats? Scouse tears. Inject them into my veins… #NFFC
@Jsize18: I love you Ali but please come on
@Irishlfc57: Oh Ali, I love you like a family member but don’t chat shite man……….we were absolutely shite
@Lea_EFC: Alisson’s tears are all I need today 😂😂
@LFC_SAIF01: We lost fair and square we were shit
@Babawon123: For me. It is better that these mistakes come early. It is a marathon and not a sprint. There is no need to groan over the loss. The challenge is to win every other game and beat Forest at home. #YNWA
@ldcarti: We don’t need to blame refs here, the players were poor not gonna lie, but we just have to keep up, 34 more games to go
@Suiwwyyyy127: Maybe trent needs to stop playing the one in a million pass everytime
