Sunderland have had to delete what has been described to be an ’embarrassing’ social media post after backlash from fans.
Sunderland’s much publicised ‘Til The End slogan, it’s hard to miss, especially after Dan Ballard netted just before the final whistle.
To remember the special moment, the time of the goal against Coventry in the Championship playoff semi final 2nd leg has now been printed on the front of a shirt, now available for their supporters to buy ahead of their trip to Wembley.
However, the post didn’t remain on their social media for too long, with supporters, from their own to rivals, quickly pointing out that there is still have the playoff final against Sheffield United to play out to really have any real meaning.
