Stewards forced to intervene after Arsenal fans vent fury at Bournemouth analysts

Security stewards were forced to intervene after Arsenal fans vent fury at Bournemouth analysts following the Gunners’ 2-1 defeat.

Footage has gone viral across social media, with three members of Bournemouth‘s staff told to stay near their seats come the end of the match after allegedly infuriating the home fans.

An ‘almighty and provocative roar’ was heard as the final whistle blew, according to chief football talkSPORT‘s live coverage commentator Sam Matterface, with an analyst prevented from heading back to dressing room for his own safety until Arsenal fans had calmed down, exiting ten minutes after the game, according to The Sun.

As per @laythy29’s tweet, Bournemouth boss Andoni Iraola said he would ask and see what happened when questioned about the behaviour of some of his analysts in the press box, who are said to have loudly celebrated the win.

Arsenal Fan TV also made their feelings known, some fans calling for Mikel Arteta to be sacked, Yardman said, as mentioned in Daily Mail‘s report: “We have a rubbish manager. We’ve got a s*** manager. I keep on telling people, everybody telling me that I’m negative. This guy keep on telling us bare bull-c**p.

“We have a good team but a s*** manager. We can win the league if we sack Mikel Arteta and go and get a different manager. Don’t ask who.

“If we get rid of him now, we are six points ahead. Just put it that we’re six points ahead because Man City playing tomorrow – say they beat Chelsea. We’re six points ahead.

“[Xabi] Alonso is out there. Alonso is a manager where the team [is] going to look and say, from Real Madrid, from Bayer Leverkusen, this guy has won it as a manager and a player. Somebody who has the know-how.

“But we have owners who don’t have any b***s. The only reason why we’re going to win the league is because City is not the City of two-three years ago. The only thing going for us is that City will drop points. It’s got nothing to do with Mikel Arteta.”

Boos after Arsenal’s title hopes take damaging blow while Bournemouth boost European push

Lee Judges also raged once again, after doing so following defeat to Southampton: “We are now in the last few weeks of Arteta. I have spoken to one of the most positive fans around and he said “he’s gone”.

“I don’t really know where to go from that. The team set-up is wrong, I don’t see how you can keep rewarding players for performances and still play.

“I couldn’t stand it no more Rob, I had to walk away. I didn’t go out of the ground and there were thousands, thousands walking out.

“You are at home against Bournemouth going for a title, God has come down to you and said “You’ve had it hard for 20 years, i’ll give you a gift of Newcastle at home, Bournemouth at home.

“By the time we play Newcastle, guess how many points were will probably be clear… none.

“If City win tomorrow it has gone mate.”

Here’s how social media users reacted, with stewards forced to intervene after Arsenal fans vent fury at Bournemouth analysts…

@afcb_r0b:
Your lot need to grow up.
And your team need to grow some.

@NibNobChocIce: Big mouthed bullies. Wouldn’t say a word on their own.

@AllySmith111: AFTV goons outside the stadium and AFTV goons inside the stadium. 💀😂

@Bushell87mufc: And this ladies and gentleman is why everyone hates arsenal because you have fans like this guy is row 7 thinks he is hard shouting abuse at the Bournemouth staff 😂😂😂😂

@ValleyFloydFred: Sit by the press box and then cry when the team that the press represent score. Pathetic. Grow up ffs

@SAFChighlights: Terrible entitled attitude. Beat you at home and abuse the analysts. Very wrong.

@NRG_14: As an Arsenal fan, that’s shameful behaviour from our supporters. They have the right to celebrate. Channel this energy towards the players and Arteta. They failed to turn up. No wonder we’re a joke in the football community

@WhatTheForkAVFC: And they wonder why they’re so disliked and football twitter enjoys the bottling.. they’re in the press box ffs.

@jack_afcb: Fully converted to hoping they bottle it now. Luckily the staff are protected by the invisible wall that football fans always abide to

@hithisiswes: Utterly embarrassing head loss from those Arsenal fans! 🤣 Wasn’t even as if #afcb turned up and peaked the bus. We played them off the park from the first whistle.

@Jolomoco:
Just embarrassing/pathetic behaviour.
– Let people have their joy/moments
– Learn to regulate your emotions (over f**king football)
– Grow up

@AGroundsss:
This fanbase
It’s honestly embarrassing
No wonder no one wants em to win it

@BlessedBobby_: Their heads have gone 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 I’d been cupping my ears to them. Fucking weird bunch these lot are
