This is how fans reacted to the FA Cup Fourth Round TV selections…
@jamesbwfc22: Police have absolutely shat themselves at the prospect of a WBA V Wolves game🤣🤣🤣
@Finlay_Rufc5: Fair play finally got the picks right 👏
@jlwstag: Finally Maidstone, and smaller clubs like Newport or Eastleigh, Norwich City, Bristol Rovers
@RKLP1998: 11:45am for potentially West Brom v Wolves? What sort of kick off time is that 🤣
@Alexnelson2004: Better picks than last round fair play
@cartledge_levi: About time Maidstone are out on
@JoeBurtonDurham: Couple of genuinely sensible picks there. Can’t complain too much
@AVFCJC23: Fulham v Newcastle? That’s desperate.
@ellMCFC_: Literally zero 17:30 games on Saturday why don’t you put City game on at this time to give the chance for fans to get back home rather than 8pm on a Friday?
@NodstahNash: Fulham v Newcastle Wow!!!! Can’t wait for that one!!! The Mickey Mousers home again!, and we knew United would be on! That one actually I agree with and Spurs v City obvious? Fulham???? Can’t believe that one! @ITVSport
@dannybaggies: 1145am Albion v Wolves when everyone’s still bang on it and will be topping up in someone’s kitchen or spoons at 9am 🤡
@CS__UTV: Remember they will make lots more changes to fixtures. Don’t get eager with booking the train 😂
@badnewsbrown: Newcastle at 7pm on a Saturday night in London? They’ll still have more fans there than Fulham I bet.
@CameronToonGolf: Zero respect shown for NUFC fans – No return trains! Pathetic organisation for this fixture.
@JoshFink24: More like it 👍🏻
@Liamkay1234: 8pm on a Friday is a joke. Won’t be able to get train back
@Dave_C90: Absolute state of that you wankers
@JoshM_2002: 11:45 on a sunday morning is atrocious 😭😭
@BC1877: All this talk about the biggest derbies in the country but not many get moved to 11.45am 😂😂 ridiculous kick off time
@notjohnneptune: If only there were trains back north that late on a Fri or sat night there’d be a few northern types moaning about waiting 7 mins for a tube (leading to another 7-10 min wait for the next tube, and another 7-10 min …. to get the last train from Euston or kx) on here
@Ollie_Davis: Nice to consider travelling Man City and Newcastle fans coming down to London.
@BladesDem: Fulham vs Newcastle 😂. Why do they think we want to watch two average teams from the same division. In the cup?
@MattRhys63: You can understand why the WBA v Wolves game is at 11:45… if it’s WBA v Wolves. If Brentford get through, then it’s just an unnecessary early kickoff for both sets of fans.
@meredithlcfc: 11:45 kick off. What a joke that is
@BurneyMcr1: ITV hoping Wolves beat Brentford in their replay to set up a derby against West Brom. Should’ve had Chelsea v Aston Villa on instead of Liverpool at home to Bristol Rovers/Norwich in my opinion.
@StoreTw8: People not expecting us to win then making this game 11.45am on the Sunday. Obviously put in place from police advice with the potential of West Brom vs wolves with fans for first time in 12 years. Here’s to hoping we can stop the party and get in to the next round. 🐝
@wolvesbradders: 11:45 on a Sunday for Albion v Brentford, going to be a huge TV audience for that one.
@SayNoMore33: This is why the FA Cup’s prestige has diminished over the years. These picks are absolutely awful. Nobody is going to watch Fulham vs Newcastle or Brentford/West Brom vs Wolves apart from fans of those clubs. Such dry and underwhelming fixtures for TV.
@Luke_Seychell: My god football is getting worse and worse. Match going fans treated like furniture these days. Disgusting.
@argusoncounty: Friday in Harrogate. OR Sunday in Newport against Manchester United, live on BBC One (£110,000 live broadcast fee).
@jfg96_: The timings are bad but I’m struggling with the fact they’re using the 24 hour clock and also saying “AM” and “PM”, one or the other please
@EmmaBfc90: 11.45?!?? Excuse me?!? yeah they’ve definitely planned this in the hopes of the derby happening 😂
@StevethePlanner: These jokers will probably be putting out an advert in the next few days about how the competition is for the fans – while sending Newcastle & City travelling fans to London on a Friday/Saturday evening with no way back on public transport. They deserve nothing but our contempt.
