This is what social media users made of the Six FA Cup Third Round TV selections confirmed for broadcast…
@lukeCFC25: Three non league clubs guaranteed to be in the third round yet not one of them on tvā¦
@OliverCrowther4:
Thatās so poor, 3 all Premier League ties on TV. Nothing interesting and possibly upsets to watch there.
Chesterfield Vs West Brom?
Coventry Vs Wrexham?
Dag&Red/Gillingham Vs Leicester?
3 far more interesting ties which should be put on TV
@spireite4: Why no non league teams , that’s what the third round of the FA Cup is all about @ChesterfieldFC
@SpireiteAlex: Tbf why have Chesterfield vs West Brom when you can have Cardiff vs Leeds. Obviouslyā¦
@Syperhanic: Not a single non-league team š
@dragon35666: No live for Chesterfield at home?
@stevvy1986: Not Man Utd v Everton or Liverpool v Wolves. Neither of those ties appeal to me at all. Would’ve rather seen Dag&Red/Gillingham v Leicester or Chesterfield v West Brom. ITV were always gonna pick Man Utd and Liverpool though for increased ad revenue reasons
@daniel_tortoise: Joke TV picks as usual, as always happens once the Premier League clubs come in.
@BIGC1236: Real spirit of the FA Cup there⦠well done š
@marting1954: Definitely not any of the 1st four – boring selections. Maybe Oxford v Arsenal worth staying in for on Monday night.
@VSFDaniel123: People complaining about these ties being on tv but these ties will get the most views
@MattyladKRO: Same teams every single time ā¦.arrogance personified by the FA ā¦stuff the smaller teams that need the money. Disgusting decision again by you
@Jamesr02_: State of this
@claretmatt87: It should be against the rules to televise games between two @premierleague sides in the 3rd Round. Just completely goes against the spirit of the FA Cup. Poor choices as per from @itvfootball & @BBCSport
@drfcjude:
Dagenham/Gillingham vs Leicester
Chesterfield vs West Brom
Aston Villa vs Stevenage
Coventry vs Wrexham
Fuck the FA and the TV
@JosephMcclarnon: Can definitely understand people moaning at this, plenty of attractive lower league or even non league ties. Tv channels cant talk about āthe magic of the cupā for months and then forget about that the 1st weekend in January.
@MichaelNUFC_:
These are so bad š they couldāve had the following instead of the all PL gamesā¦
Middlesbrough V Brighton
Dag & Red/Gillingham V Leicester
Hartlepool V Stoke
Chesterfield V West Brom
Cardiff V Leeds
Forest Green V Birmingham
