Friday night’s Sheffield Wednesday v Sheffield United U21s match turns feisty as footage of a number of eye-catching moments goes viral.
The first Sheffield derby of the season ended in a 2-2 draw, with United’s under 21s pegged back twice on an entertaining night at Hillsborough.
There was drama on the pitch, and cheeky banter coming from both sets of supporters in the stands throughout the Professional Development League fixture, with both sides in form.
Going into it, the Blades dropped only two points from seven games and sit top of the division.
The Owls have also been strong, suffering only one defeat so far this term, and are seven points behind in second spot.
Love a good tackle. Timed it perfect with just enough aggression. #swfc #owls #wawaw pic.twitter.com/PoTi9CLLuk

The Blades went ahead after just eight minutes on the clock with Owen Hampson netting brilliant work on the break from Andre Brooks.
Sheffield Wednesday were back in it after the break, taking advantage of their opponents struggling to get going.
It came just two minutes after the restart for them to grab the equaliser, Cadamarteri netting his tenth of the season from close range following a cross deflected onto the bar and into the striker’s path.
Sheffield United were back ahead on 57 minutes, with Brooks winning back the ball and slid in Jili Buyabu who struck a low effort underneath Pierce Charles in goal.
Then came what had been brewing in this derby, a scuffle which led to four players being booked, with Sheffield United looking to getting a third, only for Charlie Staniland to volley wide at the back post.
Sheffield Wednesday got the leveller in stoppage time when Luke Cook scored after the Blades failed to deal with a ball into the box. An entertaining game.
