It was a night to forget for Fulham after they became the second team to get relegated of the 2018/19 Premier League season following their 4-1 defeat by Watford.
The Cottagers found themselves a goal down after 33 minutes when Abdoulaye Doucoure hit a cracker home from 20 yards to but the Hornets 1-0 up.
That lead for short lived as 10 minutes later, Ryan Babel took the ball past keeper Ben Foster and rolled his shot in to put Fulham level.
Next on the scoresheet was Will Hughes who scored on the volley, first time from outside the box to put the hosts back ahead.
Just six minutes later, another for Watford went in, substitute Andre Gray poked the ball past two Fulham defenders before playing a square ball through to Troy Deeney who sidefooted it past Sergio Rico. 3-1 now.
Add yet another six minutes onto that and again the Hornets found the net to well and truly send Fulham down. Kiko Femenia slammed home the fourth from just inside the area.
Fulham follow Huddersfield Town to have the dreaded ‘R’ next to their name in the league table.
