Rangers have been mocked after being knocked out of Europa League Third Qualifying Round by a team, whose name is like a ‘Wi-Fi password’.
Derek McInnes’ winless start as the Scottish giants’ new manager has now been extended to four games, his side booed off after losing 3-2 on aggregate to Polish outfit Jagiellonia Białystok.
The result makes it the Rangers’ earliest exit from the competition since 2017. Hearts fans towards the end of their game against Benfica, were heard singing ‘Cheer up Derek McInnes’.
Rangers’ only hope of playing in a European league phase now depends beating Czech side Jablonec in the Conference League play-offs, who have beaten RFS of Latvia 4-1 on aggregate and won 4-3 on aggregate against Croatian side Varazdin, to get to this far in the tournament.

🇵🇱 Fair play to Jagiellonia Białystok with this video! Many people said Rangers were playing a Wi-Fi password!
Well, that ‘Wi-Fi password’ has just knocked Rangers out of the Europa League.
What a response to that! 🤣

On boos after the final whistle, McInnes, a former Rangers player, said, as per Sky Sports: “It was justified, to be honest. It wasn’t good enough. What we served up, particularly second half, wasn’t good enough.
“We need to be honest, the club’s built for Europa League and Champions League and that’s the intention, to get there.
“But I’m not sure the team is quite ready for it at the moment and it pains me to say that, to be honest, it does.
“We need to get more quality, we need to try and get more confidence out of the team.
“I felt we had to make the game open and it was a bit too open at times in the first half. Gassama and Yakota playing as kind of effectively wing-backs, we were asking a lot of them at times.
“But I thought it paid dividends in terms of penalty box action, getting the goal.
🗣️ “The club’s built for Europa League and Champions League… But I’m not sure the team’s quite ready for it.”

“I thought we were good value for getting it one and a half-time, but I still thought that Jagiellonia had a couple of scares.
“Once again, it’s not another 90-minute performance.
“That’s been in the Rangers for a while now. It’s been a continuation of that this season, already.
“In the four games we’ve played, we’ve had some good moments, but it’s not been good enough and certainly not a strong enough 90-minute performance.
“But for us to lose the goal. It’s inexplicable how we don’t make a foul, how we don’t stop the flow of the attack, how we don’t just sanitise that whole situation.
“It’s not lack of bodies, it’s lack of intelligence, it’s lack of doing the right thing, to be honest.
“We lost all our composure after that, if I’m going to be honest with you.
“What we served up last year wasn’t good enough. You get a job for a reason.
“You get a job to try and make things better and obviously sometimes you get it because things aren’t quite right, and we have to try and get things moving the right way quickly.
“There’s no two ways about it, we should be winning this game.
“Rangers, as strong as they can be, should be winning this day and we have got work to do between now and the end of the window, but between now and Sunday to get ready to win a [League] Cup tie [against holders St Mirren].”

Here’s how fans reacted with Rangers mocked after being knocked out of Europa League qualifying by team, who have been called a ‘Wi-Fi Password’…
@TheParkheadF: Beautiful trolling. 🤣
@thebaziness: As a Rangers fan – this banter is brilliant. Best of luck, we’re mince anyways.
@buckshot_1986: 😂😂😂😂 you’ve mugged them right off
@CelticFanGroup: Takin the piss out of them on their own dugout… Jagiellonia. You have well and truly earned yourself some respect 😂💚
@PaulMcG2023: This might be the best trolling we’ve ever seen 😂😂😂👏
@JakubKrupa: Jagiellonia with an ice cold response to “WiFi password” digs after their EL win v Rangers
@RGM__83: This is fucking excellent. Ripping the piss in their own stadium! 🤣
@IrnMoo: I hate them for this but this is exceptional patter 👏
@SuperJoeSavage: Get that up the entitled pricks 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
@daftfenian: Shithousery at its finest 😂😂😂😂
@GrandAuldTeam_: Derek McWinless strikes again, outstanding bears 👏🏻 🐻
@lad_aberdeen: Watching Sevco fans Cry isnt just a hobby, it’s a lifestyle, a reason to breathe, an escape from this cruel world filled w thieves. it’s art, the first gift u open on christmas, a hug from loved one, it’s everything u ever wanted, it’s everything u need.
@CF3Loyal: I’ve tried to be objective and positive during this transition but I can’t see what we are doing. From poor squad management to not having a system. There was zero patterns of play tonight. Long balls or putting it wide and hoping for the best. Amateur stuff against a diddy team.
@Luke98chelsea: Clubs fucked, signed the biggest pile of shit. Arguably not one player in that squad walks into the squad 3/4 years ago, pathetic looking at the money thats been spent. Outplayed by a pub team. Fucking shambles
