A photo has been taken and uploaded to social media appearing to show five damaged seats caused by Forest Green Rovers supporters during their side’s 1-0 win at Tranmere Rovers.
The culprits’ actions have been slammed by the Super White Army on social media with some hoping FGR chairman Dale Vince should pay up the costs for the destroyed seats.

Usual pathetic turnout from forest green. Feel guilty as a tranmere fan that we let them into the league and ruin average attendances! . pic.twitter.com/jJrFtd96oq

The only goal of the game came just two minutes into the second half when Forest Green’s Junior Mondal found the top left corner.
Tranmere had plenty of chances to find the net throughout the game. James Norwood launched an attempted lob over the bar, Paul Mullin had his overhead kick brilliantly kept out by keeper James Montgomery and also smashed the post from a 25-yard free kick.
The was a long delay in the game as Tranmere centre-back Mark Ellis suffered a knee injury. The player went to hospital to have a scan, Micky Mellon doesn’t confirm reports that he’s dislocated his knee but says he “has a sore one” according to @mattjones_sport on Twitter.
The result meant a blow to Tranmere’s automatic promotion hopes, they remain 5th and four points off third place Milton Keynes Dons with three games to go.
A place below Tranmere is Forest Green Rovers on a point less. The win for them helps them go closer to claiming a playoff place, now just six points ahead of Carlisle, Exeter the only other team in the playoffs who could miss out.
After seeing a photo of smashed up seats done by some Forest Green fans at Tranmere in the warm Good Friday weather, fans took to give their thoughts on it with many angry with what the culprits done – find out what they had to say on the next page.
