Oldham Athletic could be kicked out of Boundary Park, that’s according to reports the were published by writer Ken Lawrence in the last 24 hours.
This is due to the fact that the cash-strapped club is nearing administration over a bill worth £500,000 in overdue rent and unpaid loans.

Current owner Abdallah Lemsagam is in a dispute with former director Simon Blitz with a rent bill priced at £170,000 along with £330,000 in unpaid loans, meaning the club might lose their home of 116 years as he considers a number of options including repossessing the stadium.
Blitz claims Lemsagam is running up interest of £5,000 per month on over half of that sum and he is now consulting administrators.
Administration would mean a 12-point deduction, which would leave them bottom of League Two table and potential getting relegated to the National League.
Since the report came out, leaving Oldham fans that little more worried, a club statement was issued on Friday morning.
It read: “We have today read the article in The Sun about Oldham Athletic.
It is clear that Brass Bank wishes to apply pressure on the club to drop its legal action against in respect of the 5.2million pounds provided to the Club by Oldham Council in respect of the the North Stand.
“The claim that the club is close to administration is designed to scare – no correspondence has been received on the issue of disputed rent for over three months.
“This matter will be dealt with by the relevant authorities in the courts, and not in the media.”
After finding out that Oldham Athletic could be kicked out of Boundary Park and read the club statement, they gave their reaction and urged their owner to get out of the club…
Club statement after club statement and none of them have any actual information in them. Clubs a complete shambles on every level. Fucking embarrassing and pretty heartbreaking

So why feel the need to react to the article via a club statement? Oldham Pathetic. #oafc

You were very happy to use the media when you wanted everyone know you had contacted the police to investigate the North Stand Deal? When’s the court date btw?
