Bury Town sign ex-Wrexham, Luton, Sunderland, Wolves, Ipswich, Millwall player Carlos Edwards ahead of this Saturday’s Isthmian League clash with Dereham Town.
The 41 year old has been playing his football with Woodbridge Town in the Eastern Counties League for the past couple of seasons, and will remain on dual registration with the club.

Edwards, who also made 90 appearances for Trinidad and Tobago since 1999 whilst also playing in the Premier League, Championship, League One and League Two, will also be helping out with the coaching team.
Former footballer turned Bury Town manager Ben Chenery, said: “Carlos will be a big signing for us and will be involved on Saturday, which will be a big boost after we lost Jake last weekend for around two months.”
“We have been really unlucky with injuries and we’ve now lost our two most influential midfielders, both of whom were signed on contracts in the summer because they were vital to our season.”
“Carlos can help us fill that void and it will hopefully be a boost to the rest of the squad. He is as fit now as he was when he was a professional and he has been controlling games and scoring goals at Woodbridge so I’m sure he can recreate that one level higher.”
