Nottingham Forest player Ben Osborn ended up having has car window smashed over the weekend, he revealed on his social media.
The midfielder took to Twitter and uploaded a photo of the damage that had been caused after his side’s 2-1 home defeat to Blackburn Rovers.
He wrote: “Car got broken into last night. In fairness to who ever it was they didn't fancy taking my sunglasses, or even the car – as i stupidly had my spare key in the glove box. However, they did rob the pound coin i use to get a trolley at Sainsbury’s. Bastards.”

He replied to one fan who asked about if they took ‘anything of worth’, he said: “They genuinley took about £4.50 in change.”
Another joked: “Parks at Sainsburys, spare key in glove box, got it.”
To which Osborn said: “Also no window.”
The defeat to Tony Mowbray’s side made it their third loss in a row but also ended hopes of a late push for the playoffs.
Forest now sit 11th and are eight points from Bristol City in that last playoff place with four games to go, but the Robins have a game in hand.
For Blackburn however, the win takes them to 15th, eleven points off the playoffs and thirteen off the drop, so a mid-table finish is very likely.
After reading the tweet on the player’s car window getting smashed and broken into, fans took to social media, some gave their support, others couldn’t help but joked and make light of the situation just like the player did – check out those tweets on the next page.
