A non league side has been left frustrated after having their match abandoned late on in stoppage time.
North Ferriby played 92 minutes of their Northern Counties East League Division One fixture at Ollerton Town yesterday afternoon.
The away side were leading 3-1, but the floodlights suddenly cut out with two minutes more left remaining.
Seems to have been a floodlight failure. It’s 3-1 to the Visitors at the minute. pic.twitter.com/00KmeFuxsH

It is incredibly the second time that they have had their game stopped after they experienced a floodlight failure at their own ground against Swallownest FC on the 2nd of November.
That game only got to the 81st minute before getting abandoned, with the scoreline at 2-0 for North Ferriby.
The club said: “As with everything within the Dransfield Stadium, the floodlighting system has been subjected to rigorous testing and certified by fully qualified engineers. Indeed, there has been extensive use of the floodlighting system over recent months without any intimation of error.
“As a result of yesterdays problem, it goes without saying the club will be arranging for an immediate inspection.
“We’re deeply frustrated and disappointed that a decision to abandon the game was made without consultation or exercising the option to temporarily suspend play. The fact lighting was restored before anyone left the field of play demonstrates the absurdity of that decision.”
Fans took to express their shock after finding out that North Ferriby had a second game abandoned in a week due to floodlight failure – see those tweets on the next page.
