The National League North table with PPG

How does the National League North table look with PPG? We have checked it out with doubts arising whether the season can continue or not.

This level of football has been suspended for two weeks after clubs started announcing that they would boycott playing anymore league matches.

They weren’t happy playing on with the campaign following news that loans are set to replace grants to cover their costs for the next three months.

A National League statement said: “Following the review of the feedback from Clubs in connection to the recent Clubs meeting, a Board meeting this morning decided to halt the participation in the North/South Divisions for a two-week period, effective immediately. As a result, tomorrow’s (Sat Jan 23) games are formally postponed.”

Ollie Bayliss added on Twitter: “The National League will ‘continue to challenge the position on what it believes was the original intimation on grants’. The DCMS says ‘it’s untrue that funding was promised as all grants’. At present, clubs will be offered support on the same basis as those from other sports.”

Ant Smith, the Concord Rangers chairman said: “I have chaired our club now for just over 20 years and during that time we have never borrowed a penny and we certainly would not looking to start now.

“What would happen if the league loan option was taken but we did not want the funding?

“My personal belief is that if we cannot get the DCMS decision overturned then the season should be suspended and a decision made on null and void or PPG.

“I think you have missed the biggest option, that if you were to suspend the league and get the backing of the FA, EFL and Premier League you could reverse their decision.

“Myself and Mark (Dorking) showed with our ‘Let fans in’ campaign how the power of social media and the backing of many can get the government to sit up and listen.”

Are the PPG allocated simply by taking the games played and points gained so far this season and applying that average to the remaining unplayed fixtures, or have you taken account of the possible difference in average for home and away games and then applying those averages to those left to be played?
