Nathan Redmond cheekily trolls Arsenal when talking to a fan after Southampton’s win over the Gunners on Saturday afternoon.
The Saints winger gave his damning verdict on his out-of-form opposition as he signed autographs after the game.
Arsenal suffered their THIRD consecutive Premier League defeat with Jan Bednarek scoring the only goal of the game as Arsenal slumped to sixth in the table as they lose ground on their rivals to secure a top-four spot.

WHAT MANAGERS SAID POST-MATCH
Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta: “It is difficult to explain because this is football, not basketball. In any other sport you win the game very comfortably.
“At the end of the day it’s decided in the boxes, they scored one goal, we didn’t for that amount of time we spent around the box, the clear-cut chances we had, we didn’t put them in the goal because they have an exceptional goal have an exceptional goalkeeper today, and because we didn’t have enough quality to break them down.”
Asked whether Arsenal’s top-four challenge is losing impetus, he said: “It certainly has and we need to find a way to win football matches. What we can do is play as good as possible to get the team as close as possible to win football matches – today we’ve done that again. The stats will say, ‘How the hell have we lost that game?’ but the reality is we lost it.”
Southampton boss Ralph Hasenhuttl: “We knew that it was time to show a reaction. And to show that we also can play a little bit different. Today was a different game; under 30 per cent possession I don’t think we’ve ever had in this season so far. We didn’t want to give them a chance for an early ball in. We wanted to be compact.
“We wanted to minimise the mistakes we’ve made in recent weeks because you have to when you concede 13 goals in four games. You have to change things. This is what we did today. I know that we can play more football, I know that we can play better. But it’s also good to know that we can defend like this.”
He reserved a word of praise for the performance of Forster, who is out of contract at the end of this season, but proved invaluable against Arsenal’s armoury: “A goalkeeper who was exceptional today. Not to forget, because otherwise, it looks different.
“Great to get such a reward for such a game. This is absolutely exceptional. I’m very happy for him. He plays for winning with Southampton and definitely for staying with us.”

@nav_nm: Getting bantered by Nathan Redmond. Where has Mikel Arteta taken us?
@FRANXICAN: He is right. Arteta made us bang average and mid table .
@PaulGardinerDJ: He isnât wrong.
@ArsenalAnoop: Arteta outs seeing banter for the first time đ
@Peirasmos_man: He is right though! We are not that good! What any small team needs to do against us is to score first, then let Arsenal play, as long as they sit deep, we can’t seem to score
@1neOffM: This is embarrassing. The âmightyâ arsenal are getting victimised by teams like Southampton & Crystal Palace after 2 and a half years into a âprocessâ. Kmt
@JFNN_: Arteta has us getting mocked by Nathan redmond
@lykaawilss: Show the cocky shit prick how good we really are tomorrow đ

@banky_a1: donât blame him for saying it. was a poor performance
@WoolwichCannons: People might think he is bantering but deep down he is being honest and I bet he wouldnât say the same against the likes of City, LFC, Chelsea.
@doubleAtion: Southampton, whoâs last major trophy was 46 years ago, are bantering us and rightfully so. Life under ArtetaâŠ
@MdHafiq: Heâs right though. Arsenal is far from good. Im not sure if iâll ever see arsenal get into the same level as man city or liverpool. Donât think it will happen anytime soon. We can hope but deep down we all know how its gonna end.
@Ay_Gunner: Arsenal fans abusing Redmond like it shouldnât be directed to Arteta who has made us into a joke club
