Reports on social media claim that the young lad, who was playing for St Josephs YFC, was left bloodied by an opposition manager.

“6 police cars there and the manager has now been arrested.”

It is truly shocking what we are reading, and we wouldn’t be surprised if we find out more about what happened considering the amount of reaction it has got online.
No kid/teenager should ever be playing the sport they love only to be on the end of a fist thrown by a fully grown adult.
After finding out that a 14 year old had been punched by a manager of an opposition club, fans took to reveal their shock while also hoping the lad wasn’t ‘too traumatised’ and then slammed the adult, hoping he would be named and shamed – see those tweets on the next page.
