Manager left with ‘massive shock’ after being let go by Hemel Hempstead

Manager Sammy Moore has been left with a ‘massive shock’ after being let go by National League South side Hemel Hempstead Town.

The non league outfit released a statement on Wednesday, saying that they have parted company with Moore along with player/assistant manager Jack Midson and first team coach Darren Beale.

They thanked them for their contribution and their efforts over the past 12 months and wished them well for the future.

The Tudors finished the cancelled 2019/20 season in 11th place, taking 44 points from 24 games. They finished the 2018/19 season in 16th not under Moore.

Moore took to social media to express his disappointment at being told his contract wouldn’t be renewed.
