Man Utd and Aston Villa fans throw fists in scrap; vile chants heard in protest towards Glazers

A new video shows Man Utd and Aston Villa fans throw fists in a sudden scrap and vile chants were heard in protest towards the Glazers.

A clip showing the fighting surfaced online, showing it kicking off outside Costa Coffee on White City Retail Park nearby Old Trafford.

It’s since gone on to get over 700,000 views at the time of writing while flooded full of comments in reaction to it…

All this was happening as frustrated Manchester United supporters marched to the game in order to aim their anger at the club’s owner while demanding a complete sale.

They once again voiced their hatred for the unpopular Glazers, just like they did famously when they stormed Old Trafford a few years back and postponed the match against Liverpool.

The 1958, a fan group, organised the march with a large crowd gathering at the Nags Head Pub, about ten minutes from the stadium.

Many held banners in their hands, wore scarves of gold and green and held flares above their heads.

The Glazers urged to leave the club as questions remained about a possible transfer, worried about the possibility of a partial sale, which would allow brothers Joel and Avram to keep a stake.

They want to sell the club in its entirety, and Sheikh Jassim Bin Hamad al Thani is willing to pay the full price.

United fan and billionaire, Sir Jim Ratcliffe prefers to purchase a stake in which the Glazer brothers would likely be involved, at least in part.

Ineos’ chief executive is now said to be the favourite to complete the takeover with his third bid reportedly larger than the Qatari proposal.

Four US hedge fund companies, including Elliott Management, and the Carlyle Group, are willing provide financing for the Glazers’ to stay, but their offers will be evaluated only if the main bids fail.

Glazers values United at £6billion, but its share capitalisation on the New York Stock Exchange dropped 2.5% yesterday to £2.6billion after initial increases in anticipation of a sales were reversed before the close of business.

Bruno Fernandes scored his 100th career league-goal to end Aston Villa’s unbeaten 10-match run and helped Manchester United to win the Champions League.

Fernandes scored six minutes before the break after Emiliano Martnez had deflected Marcus Rashford’s shot in his direction.

The hosts were rewarded for their victory, as Marcel Sabitzer had come close to winning the game.

United’s midfielder Casemiro hit the bar in both halves and curled his second-half attempt just wide.

Ezri Konza almost scrambled an equaliser at close range from a late, flicked-on corner, but the Villa defence was unable adjust his body quickly enough to steer it goalwards, and United were able to clear the ball.

United now have a comfortable lead over the clubs chasing the top four spots. Villa are nine points behind the Red Devils, having missed their chance to reduce the gap to only three points.

Manchester United match winner Bruno Fernandes speaking to Premier League Productions: “We always do everything to win the game, not every time it is possible but the team always do everything to win the game.

“It’s always important because this club is about winning games. It doesn’t matter the opponent we play against, we knew we were playing against a good team who haven’t lost in 10 games who have good players and good patterns but we also knew that we are capable to do our job and win the game.

“We did what we were trained to do, we could have scored more goals but we are happy with the 1-0 and the three points.

“It’s really important for us to get top four and then we have to think about winning a trophy so we have to find the energy and aim for the top four and the FA Cup.”

Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag speaking on BBC Radio 5 Live: “A good three points but I think an impressive performance from Manchester United. We were magnificant on the ball, had good possesion and pressed well.

“In the second half you want to go 2-0 ahead but we didn’t so it’s always going to be a tough finish.

“[Victor Lindelof] played brilliant. He was totally in control in the area around [Ollie] Watkins.

“Bruno [Fernandes] had another great game. The plan was to play him from the right to make runs behind and he did that so well. I think our plan worked very well.”

“We look from game to game and next we have Brighton so we need to work hard again. We need to show passion again and not worry about the table.

“We are totally in control [in the race for top four], it’s all about us and it’s in our hands.”

Aston Villa goalkeeper Emiliano Martinez speaking to Sky Sports: “It’s a bit harsh [to lose], we didn’t start the game well, we were sloppy and gave the ball away too many times to them. Our line was good, our spirit was there in the second half but at the end of the day it’s zero points that we talk back to Birmingham and it’s a little bit frustrating.

“We have got a winning mentality right now, we were unbeaten for ten games and we tried to come here to take the three points, not even a draw. We tried at the end, they defended their goal really well and cleared their line a few times but we can’t start games sloppy like that.

On whether Unai Emery has instilled a winning mentality: “Yeah of course. He gives us a game plan every single game and a lot of ideas to win games. Positioning, fighting spirit, he’s one of the best managers in the world.”

On Man United’s goal: “I didn’t do a long ball for 40 minute and I decided to go long and Casemiro did an amazing header and then Rashford is all of a sudden one v one. I made a save and then it deflected off Moreno. Disappointed because we lost the game via a deflection.”

“You can see how far we have come with this manager. It is a good time to be a Villa fan. I’m proud to wear this shirt. I’m all in every weekend and let’s see if we can qualify in Europe in the next four games.”
