Footage has gone viral of a man who gets knocked out as fans clash while the Luton boss slams a shocking penalty decision at Sunderland.
We begin with the fighting, with both sets of supporters beginning with pushing and shoving, only for a number of fists being thrown and a punch seemingly connects, sending one down on the ground before getting back up again.
He attempts to give it as good as he got, yet got hit a second time and this occasion was out cold, stopping the fight as those around him along with a couple of females calming the situation down to see if the individual is alright, before the clip cuts with his being helped up and walk off to seek help.

The game itself saw substitute Amad Diallo score an 86th minute penalty to earn Sunderland points and deny promotion-chasing Luton Town a fifth Championship win in a six-game unbeaten streak.
Diallo confidently hit home a spot-kick in the top corner after earning the penalty for himself to stop the Hatters from claiming a fourth consecutive victory of 1-0.
Alfie Doughty’s second-half goal looked to have been enough to win a victory that would have brought Luton within four points of Sheffield United.
The result prevented Tony Mowbray’s from falling to their defeat loss in six league games after a determined late push from the Black Cats.
Luton boss Rob Edwards slammed the penalty decision that saw Sunderland dent his side’s automatic-promotion hopes at the Stadium of Light.

“It’s very frustrating,” said the Luton boss, as per The Northern Echo. “Sunderland are a very good team, and I’m not saying they didn’t deserve anything from the game, but we were 1-0 up and the equaliser was from a wrong decision.
“It was. I’ve been in and spoken to the officials and they’ve explained their decision-making and the reasons behind it. They don’t have the benefit of replays or VAR to get those decisions right, but these are big games and that was a huge moment.
“It changed the dynamics of the game completely because it got 30,000 fans on their feet and going nuts for their team, and changed the belief within the players as well.
“They out about 20 forwards on who are all good players, and it seemed like the Red Arrows coming at us then. We had to dig in. We went from getting three points if the decision had been right to a position where it could easily have been none because we were hanging on.”
Edwards said, as per Luton Today: “It was not to be today, but I feel like the players certainly deserved it (win).
“I thought the performance overall was very, very good, a very difficult place to come and we were in great shape, but ultimately a wrong decision has cost us.
“Between them they came to the decision, I know it happens quickly, and they’ve had a discussion and felt that was what the right decision was.
“We have the benefit of looking back at it, had a really strong feeling at the time, but it’s not a penalty, I feel like the boy has bought it and dived the opposite way really.”
“What that did was it changed the momentum and the whole dynamics of the game because it lifted them completely.
“Thirty-odd thousand people backing them and getting right behind them and we could have gone from three points to nothing quite quickly.
“So I’m extremely proud of the lads and I know the supporters here will be proud of the players and the people listening back home will be proud of the lads as it was some shift.”
Asked if he had spoken to the referee afterwards for an explanation regarding the decision, Edwards continued: “They felt there was a pull, I’ve obviously then said there wasn’t.
“I know it happens quick, and they’ve got to make those split second decision, but in the position we’re in, a huge game today, as every one is now, we need the right decisions to go for us.
“If it was a penalty I’d come here and hold my hands up and say it was and we had to deal with it.
“But it changed the whole dynamics of the game as well and there’s two points there that we won’t be able to get back.”
Mad Hatters said via Vital Football: I had hoped after having adequate referees in our last couple of games I’d not be writing about them for a while.
But after witnessing what happened yesterday I could just not ignore the flood of social media comments about the performance of the referee against Sunderland, Scott Oldham.
I might have been able to ignore his performance apart from the ineptitude he showed when, in the 86th minute, he awarded Sunderland a penalty, a spot-kick that was to, ultimately, cost the Hatters two points with it looking very likely another 1-0 win was on the cards.
Keeping the threat to a minimum, Gabe Osho was surprised as many of us as Amad Diallo fell to the floor believing he’d been fouled by Osho.
Now I don’t know about a foul but I’m not even sure that Osho touched him, to me it looked as if a gust of wind had blown Diallo over!
To rub salt in our wounds, and as mentioned earlier Diallo seized the opportunity to grab a point for Sunderland and deprive the Hatters of all three points by beating Ethan Horvath with the spot kick.
“Whether it was a penalty or not, ultimately it was given,” said Sunderland boss Tony Mowbray, as per ChronicleLive. “We’ve had enough bad decisions go against us, going back to midweek there, so you take them when they come, we scored and we take the point and move on.
“We got there in the end. Was it a penalty or wasn’t it a penalty? I don’t really go in there and watch stuff [replays].
“My opinion is that I don’t think we deserved to lose the game, so we’ll take the point and move on.
“Ultimately, it was probably the substitutions today that gave them a spark and that energy that allowed us to push on.
“I have to be careful with this inexperienced group that I am not overly critical of them. And yet it seemed [in the first half] a bit pedestrian, a bit slow, not getting through, not getting forward enough, too slow across the back.
“I don’t want to go in at half-time blasting all the time because when you work with young players you have to encourage them and give them belief.”
Social media users reacted after a man gets knocked out as fans clash; while the Luton boss slams a shocking penalty decision at Sunderland…
ON THE FIGHT:
tbuckley01_: sunderland been active all season
harrywba.7: Football hooliganism theme tune in the background
jack0hinchy: geeza singing in the background , lad knocked to the ground twice. some video 😭😭😭
frank_phurt: ‘Real’ football hooliganism and the firms that came with it finished many years ago whether you like it or not. I’m not digging anyone out but i’m afraid the small groups of youngsters today missed the boot and all they’re doing is putting themselves in the shop window for prisons.
proudlockb: Luton fella getting picked up outside the Wheatsheaf bar a popular bar for Sunderland and away fans..must have been acting the goat and got done by Sunderland youth
jpwfc89: Luton been done by watford Qpr and Sunderland this season, pack it in scummers, it ain’t happening for you.
frankie_l.08: Out cold 🥶
willbage_: Same fella put on his arse twice 🫣
jakemarriott97: Geezer gets dropped gets up straight back into it then puts straight back on the pavement 😂
ON THE PEN DECISION:
@huds8118: Appalling decision 😂 Mind, we’ve had some shockers against us in recent games. Including a probable penalty about 5 minutes before this one. But this sums up how poor the officials are
@CalumBright_: Don’t like to get too into refereeing decisions as normally I do believe it’s all swings and roundabouts. But for that to be true we are due a few dodgy ones over the last 8 games that’s for sure🤣🤦♂️
@TheParkChair: Amazing how professional footballers do this and then celebrate being awarded a penalty 🙄
@LutonTownExile: Ridiculously, one of the reasons this was given is because of the way their player managed to somehow throw himself that way. He’s completely fluked his fall so it looks more like a shove. Other reasons are the referee &/or linesman are thick as sh*t, are bottlers, or are bent.
@tomdawson97: Imagine that being given against you, about time we had a bit luck from officials but ffs man that’s pathetic
@tenchylad: Never a pen , but we have been shafted. God knows how many times this season… genuinely the officials in this league are awful. Take my Red and white glasses off. I feel for you lot with this one, but I’ll take it as about time we had a dodgy decision go our way.
@leeroypatel: This is obviously an horrendous decision. On the other hand, if players didn’t spend half the game trying to con decisions out of the ref their job wouldn’t be nearly as difficult.
@smoggy854: Fucking hell, the standard of referring in this league is shocking at times.
@PyleAndrew: That is one of the worst dives I’ve ever seen, bet Sunderland fans aren’t complaining about the refs this time
@Dale_Harris14: This decision could be ASTRONOMICAL in Luton’s season. The standard of officiating from the top of the country, right through the EFL and below is just getting worse and worse and worse. Unacceptable & Disgusting.
@BenCra1g: Officials in the Championship are absolutely laughable 😂 even as a Sunderland fan I can admit that’s never ever a pen
@tw18hatter: the standard of officiating in the @EFL is beyond grim
@morpethhack: It was never a penalty. But then again, the Luton goal came from a free-kick taken on the edge of the box for a challenge that was near the touchline. The officials in this league are dreadful
@RyanBingham64: At what point does it go beyond incompetence
@ltfckieren: At what point do you see Bell’s arm outstretch to push him that way? If anybody on planet earth thinks this is a pen, you need to book in for an eye test. Immediately.
@PaddyHollis123: No way was this a pen for me btw. Just adds to the long list of woeful refereeing decisions in the Championship this season
@JamesHailey1: This appalling decision cost us 2 points today…. 4 minutes from the end and the ref gives this…. Sponsored by @Specsavers. What an absolute knobber.
@JRDryden_7: Honestly, how this has possibly been given as a penalty is beyond me, the level of refereeing in all levels of football has become a joke, absolute shambles! The FA need to sort it out #referees #football #lutonfc
@Maasseeeyy: This little diving cheating Cunt bag don’t deserve to play football again. Fucking prick.
@jamie_castle96: Absolutely horrific
@NytroLTFC: Looked crap from the original angle. This makes it look a million times worse. Penalty my arse
Oooh my God 🤦🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️
