Man City fans mock Arsenal with a chant, and Gary Neville shushes a Man City fan who was giving him abuse during the Carabao Cup Final.
The game saw Nico O’Reilly jump on an error by Arsenal keeper Kepa Arrizabalaga to head Manchester City in front on the 60th minute.
O’Reilly then doubled City’s advantage with another header four minutes later, to see Pep Guardiola become the first manager to win the Carabao Cup five times.
Mikel Arteta’s side showed a lack of fight throughout the game. Arsenal remain without a trophy since the 2020 FA Cup.
Man City fans taunted Arsenal when leaving the stadium, with the chant – “Second again, ole ole!”

Another video emerged on social media, showing Gary Neville, on punditry for the cup final, shushing a City fan who was abusing at him.
The City fan is heard saying: “Neville, Neville, you red c*nt, Neville, ay, Neville’s a wanker, wanker, wanker, Neville’s a wanker, wanker, wanker, ay, where’s your club? Where’s your team? You red c*nt. Ay.” Then laughs.

Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola, speaking to Sky Sports: “What can I say? When you win a trophy is important. It was special because we had a tough two weeks. What they did in the Champions League is so difficult. In the first 15 minutes they suffocated us, we could not breathe. After that we won some second balls and started to play. I’m really pleased because Mikel created a team that is almost unbeatable. A fifth Carabao Cup in 10 years is not bad. Every time you win a title it looks more difficult than in the past. it is really difficult for many reasons.”
Is it harder to win more titles with the same team or to rebuild: “When you start to win and the generation is young you can continue that. I need to know them. I need to know how they behave in certain moments. Today in modern football everyone is so competitive and difficult. I think we learn for the future and hopefully next season we can do better.”
On Nico O’Reilly: “Maybe he was the signing of the season. When we started the season we had a long conversation with him. He started to play at left-back and impressed a lot. He can play in many roles, he is a guy in the final third in a position he likes. He made two fantastic goals.”
On if his team are closer to where he wants them: “We are still not the team like Arsenal are or like we were in the past. We always found a way to win titles.”
On the Premier League title race: “I would love to be nine points in front to be honest. It’s in their hands. We need time, an incredible break. I am exhausted and after we see step by step.”
Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta, speaking to BBC 5 Live: “Painful, especially for our player and supporters because we really wanted to lift that trophy today. It was two very different halves, especially the first half when I think we were better than them and had the best two chances of the game. We didn’t capitalise on that. Credit to them for what we have done. A really sad day.”
On if he regrets starting Kepa: “I made a decision before the game based on what he has done all season, the fact he has played in the competition and helped us be where we are today. It would have been very unfair to choose a different one.”
On Arsenal’s unbeaten run ending and the task to go on another winning run: “We had eight amazing months with this team. Today is a disappointment. We need to use that fire in the belly for the next two months to have an incredible season.”
Arteta, speaking to Sky Sports: “It’s painful when you get to a final and you have that will to win the first trophy of a season after eight months working on it is always tough. We had the best chance of the game to put it 1-0 and the game would be different. They had two shots and scored two goals.”
On his overall feeling on how his team played: “They were two different halves. The first half was very positive in every sense, the second half was a different one. You have to give credit to the opposition.”
On the struggle to get up the pitch: “We had opportunities to break, we gave the ball away. When we regained the ball we gave it straight back.”
On any regrets over his goalkeeper choice: “I would do it again. he deserved to play this game and has been phenomenal for us. Errors are part of football any anyone can make them.”
On the importance of staying calm: “We had great incredible months together. Today is a disappointment, football is part of that. We have to use the fight to have two amazing months at the end of the season.”
Manchester City goalscorer Nico O’Reilly speaking to Sky Sports: “Unbelievable feeling. To win a final, to beat this team we know how good they are. We need to build on it, it will give us good momentum. Buzzing with today.
“Bit of disbelief seeing all the fans cheering like that when I scored those goals. Really a good feeling and a great birthday weekend.”
On who is at Wembley supporting him: “My whole family came down today. They are all in the stand and I know they will be buzzing. I can’t wait to celebrate with them.”
On when he added goalscoring to his game: “Since I was a kid I always played in midfield, I was always arriving in the box and scoring goals. To bring it in at senior level and the highest level, it’s good for me and adds goals to my game. A great feeling.”
Manchester City goalkeeper James Trafford, speaking to Sky Sports: “Yeah it was obviously big saves because they happened quite early on in the game, but I can’t really remember them because they were quite quick, but yeah, I’m just happy to play my part in it, and then Nico scored two, which is brilliant from him.
“This moment, means a lot to me. Four or five years ago when they beat Spurs to win it, I think I was fourth or fifth choice, and I always imagined that I would win it won day. It’s an incredibly good season, because all my family and friends are here, and it’s a long way from north-west Cumbria.”
On starting the final: “Yeah, it means a lot to have his faith, and it’s a testament to how I believed in myself, and how I acted in training, when I’ve been brought in for club games. Every time that I play I just give it my best shot.”
On competing with Gianluigi Donnarumma: “No illusions, it hasn’t been easy at all. It’s been really tough at times, but I have a really good set of people around me. My teammates and my coaches have been brilliant. They have kept me going, and given me individual goals. It’s down to them.”

Here’s the social media reaction after Man City fans mock Arsenal with chant and Gary Neville shushes a Man City fan who gave him abuse…
@HLTCO: The over exaggerated laugh at the end says a lot there. What’s he expecting Neville to do? It’s the most minimal reaction ever to being called a c*** over and over again. 😂
@GraemeBandeira: Nev handled that so well. The moron reverting to an hysterical laugh to justify him into thinking it was funny.
@JordyHensh07: I find it funny when I see videos like this because G Nev has something like 10 premier league titles and 2 champions leagues to his name, I’m sure United not being in the energy drink cup final today doesn’t bother him in the slightest, he did his thing lol
@lufcMM0: Laughing to himself like a pissed up moron, how embarrassing is that 😂
@chris_walton21: Really embarrassing…..for the ‘fan’!
@AP_1518: Took that well tbf to him.
@Lewxs12: Another city fan who got his childhood taken away by United 😂😂😂
@mikekingsfr: There’s banter and then there are idiots like this who ruin it for others. Credit to Neville for handling it so well.
@catchyoulater72: Not a fan of Gary Neville but that City fan is an absolute weapon and completely embarrassed himself there .
@lufcMM0: People overstep the boundaries when it’s an ex or current footballer for me, they know full well that the cameras are on these people and should they confront the narrative is flipped.
