There were mad goals as Millwall beat Dagenham 3-0, with West Ham fans in the away end, and some Millwall fans took to invade the pitch.
Millwall comfortably beat National League opposition Dagenham and Redbridge in the FA Cup on Monday, one goal in particular went viral.
We also saw a number of West Ham fans snap up tickets for the away end at the Den, with there a confirmed away attendance of 1,529, in a total crowd of 5,625.
Songs were exchanged, between the two stands throughout the game, with some Millwall fans running onto the pitch trying to taunt the away end, before trying to dodge security stewards.

Sounds like a mob of WHU fans are in the away end singing the Anti Millwall song. At least the two teams playing tonight are still in the FA Cup (for the next half hour at least) unlike the Claret & Blue outfit. pic.twitter.com/4jRvgbM5FI

*West Ham fans in the Dagenham end being pricks. Incredibly unfair to associate the majority of us with a few knobheads on the right hand side

Mihailo Ivanovic put Millwall ahead in their FA Cup Third Round tie against Dagenham & Redbridge with a unique header when down on the ground.
Casper de Norre doubled the hosts’ lead on 70 minutes, before 20-year-old Ra’ees Bangura-Williams netted his first Millwall goal after coming off the bench with 5 minutes left on the clock.
The result means that Millwall will make a trip to Elland Road to face Championship leaders Leeds over the weekend starting Saturday, the 8th of February.
He’s headed it on the floor! 🤣

Millwall boss Alex Neil speaking to BBC Radio London:
“It was a really strong performance. I think the only disappointment was in the first half we probably should have been more ahead, we created some really good chances.
“I’ve got to give credit to Dagenham, they made us wait until midway through the second half to get that second goal that then settles us down. It gives me an opportunity as well to put on some of the younger players and see what they can do, and they certainly didn’t disappoint – I thought they were excellent.”
On Bangura-Williams’ goal: “The bit where he takes out the centre-back and glides past him, and then the confidence just to slide it under the goalkeeper. If you’d write a script before the game, you wouldn’t be too far off from what happened tonight, so I’m delighted for everyone.”
On whether Esse’s proposed move to Palace was more likely than it had been last week: “Yeah, I think that’s fair to say.”
Neil on ITV4: “I thought it was an enjoyable game for us, we scored three goals and should have had more. Dagenham stayed in the game and made it tough for us.
“There’s nothing better than putting some young lads on and they put the ball in the back of the net. It was a bit of ingenuity for the opener, he stuck his head in and it gets us off the mark which is important.
“We’re at home against a team in the Conference so it has no bearing on how many goals we are going to score in the Championship but we want more goals. We need to go to Leeds and attack the game.”
Millwall midfielder Casper de Norre on ITV4: “It’s always difficult in these games but once you get that first goal it opens up.
“In the second half they had a spell where they were dangerous but in the end the game was done with some nice goals.
“The second goal is important in these games, it put it to bed.”
Dagenham & Redbridge caretaker manager Lewis Young said:
“I was disappointed a little bit at half-time, I didn’t think the players showed themselves. You know when you’re on a big stage and you’ve got a chance to go and show everyone, there was a little bit of fear, a bit of enormity and the size of the stadium and players they’re facing.
“There was a 20-minute period in the second half where we had a couple of chances and had them really on the back foot.
“Ultimately they’re a Championship club but I’m so proud of that 20-minute period and the reaction.”
On the club’s search for a new manager: “That’s out of my hands. I’ve got a burning desire to be a football manager, I want to be successful.
“All I can do is try and help the group as best I can and that’s what I’ve done and [maybe] that’s down to someone else but I’ll just keep preparing the team as best as possible for the next game.”

Twitter users reacted amid mad goals as Millwall beat Dagenham, West Ham fans in the away end, and Millwall fans decided to invade the pitch…
@billbaggs1080: Millwall fans didn’t fancy meeting West Ham tonight. More staff than fans.
@AranNicol1994: Still can’t believe all the Millwall fans have bottled coming to the game because they thought West Ham were coming. “Let them come to The Den” is the normal war cry.
@caulfield1390: What have we learnt about tonight…. Millwall fans are embarrassing…. west ham fans are also embarrassing.
@COYD2000: Proud of the team’s effort, our fans were brilliant. Phipps put in a shift, as did Rutherford. Tough night for Stephenson, and Randall. Disappointing to see West Ham fans trying to steal the moment. Millwall celebrating like they won World Cup vs a non league team says it all
@paulobiwan73: Big achievement, bless him 😂 2-3 year ban now though sausage
@IvorBig29545826: Do stewards get training on how to do that exact same fall everytime someone runs on a pitch?!
@plw1053: at least he had plenty of empty seats to run back to…
@glendowdall: The type of fan they won’t see at the Den for months until they play a rival or big game and he’ll come out the woodwork pretending to be proper wall. They ain’t half got some divs attached to that club.
@BeeBlackmore8: That’s just cost us about 40k 👏 idiot !!
@tabuteauS: Steward sent for a 🌭
@gillham_kevin: Can’t beat a steward falling over
@Itzhazza12: why do stewards always look like the idiots in these situations 😭
@_Brady1_: Highlight of tonight to be fair 🤣 geezer was fuming
@Max__CFC: what nutter would want a lifetime ban because they ran on the pitch in a 3rd round fa cup fixture
