Leeds United striker Ryan Edmondson has appeared to have cheekily taunted a Huddersfield supporter on Twitter during yesterday’s game.
The 18 year old signed for the Whites two years ago but was rejected by Huddersfield as a youth, according to the club’s website.
He poked fun at the Terriers’ expense after a fan (said to be his friend) tweeted “Up the fucking town boys and girls” after going 2-0 down in the Championship opener against Derby County on Monday.
Edmondson replied back to him, amusingly mocking his former side, he said: “How’s that going for you ?”

To be fair to the fan, he took it in good stead, as you can see with the following tweets…

Ryan Edmondson replied back…

Shortly after, Huddersfield went on to score a consolation through a penalty by Karlan Grant, though couldn’t find that all important equaliser.
It’s early days of course, but a quick look at the Championship table and it shows Jan Siewert’s side sitting in 16th place, Derby County head up to 5th.
Leeds United go joint-top – with Yorkshire rivals Sheffield Wednesday – on goal difference, both sides won 3-1 over the weekend.
After checking out the result and Ryan Edmondson’s cheeky mocking towards a Huddersfield fan’s tweet last night, Leeds supporters took to give their amused reaction – find out what they had to say on the next page.
