Leaked Leeds United 2021/22 home kit divides opinion

The leaked Leeds United 2021/22 home kit continues to divides opinion amongst the club’s fanbase as new images emerged on the 1st of July.

A first ‘real’ picture of what the strip will look like was shared by @asot138 on Wednesday as they spotted it on sale in the infamous Rebel Sports store in Australia.

FootyHeadlines say: “The Adidas shirt introduces a similarly clean design to this season’s but changes the accent colors from blue and gold to navy and yellow.

“The Adidas and SBOTOP logos on the front of the Adidas Leeds 21-22 home football shirt are navy.

“White shorts and socks round off the look of the new Leeds United 21-22 home uniform by Adidas.”

Meanwhile, the Whites have begun their preparations for the upcoming Premier League campaign today as pre-season gets underway.

Marcelo Bielsa’s squad will undergo testing as they return from a summer break of club action, however will still be without a few players due to the Euros.

Leeds United have also released their first look at some new 2021/22 training gear.

A black range with yellow trim was revealed on Wednesday, with the likes of Patrick Bamford, Raphinha, Robin Koch, Illan Meslier and Pascal Struijk all used as the faces of the new gear in a photoshoot organised a few weeks ago.

Clipper remaining as the main sponsor on the front of the t-shirts and jumpers, SBOTOP, the main match kit sponsor, is printed along the arms.

Available from 9am on Thursday the 8th of July, fans will be able to purchase online or in-store at any of the official Leeds United retail outlets, including those located at Elland Road, the White Rose Centre, Leeds Trinity and The Merrion Centre.

FAN REACTION ON THE TRAINING GEAR:

@skorecki_: sexy as fuck

@MrChambers_lufc: I’ll have one of each please…. lovely, hope the main kits are just as beautiful ๐Ÿ˜ #mot #lufc #alaw

@MOTweets1919: Announce Firpo in it, lads. Go on, we know you want to x

@NickoSlick_LUFC: Jeez Iโ€™d take that as an away strip ๐Ÿ˜

@klichsleftfoot: Omg it’s beautiful

@RUSTYBLACKHEART: Ahh man this is gonna cost me

@anonymousL33ds: Oh my fucking word ๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜ Please have enough stock to go around ๐Ÿคž๐Ÿป๐Ÿคž๐Ÿป๐Ÿคž๐Ÿป

@LUFCPeachey: Sexy that

@BillyLUFCHornby: Letโ€™s just pray there is plenty in stock this time ๐Ÿ’›๐Ÿ’™

@lufc_fc: Wouldโ€™ve been a banging away kit

@B_Huds0n: Thatโ€™s actually beautiful

@Conor_Smithy: Lovely!!!!! Let’s hope the home and away kits don’t disappoint but I will definitely be picking up a training tee

@DanLUFC_: Thatโ€™s not right I thought Rapha was a Liverpool player??

FAN REACTION ON THE LEAKED LEEDS HOME KIT:

@TotalLeedsball: As with all kits, you hate it until somebody whacks a winner in whilst wearing it

@jb889091: I swore I didn’t like, and wouldn’t buy, the maroon one until I saw our sweet prince Raphinha playing like an absolute god in it.

@sparkeface: Think Iโ€™m the only one that quite likes it

@BielsaBaller: Looks good I think. After we went with adidas and being an all white kit club… There was only so much we could do year on year. They’ve managed to make it fairly unique against all our old kits somehow while keeping the core the same.

@WhiteKnightLUFC: Would be better with blue and yellow on the shoulder stripes

@St_Jizzy: Wow this is not only lazy by adidas it is bloody rank. Bring back kappa ๐Ÿ˜‰๐Ÿ’›๐Ÿ’™

@PortsLeedsNI: Awful if true.

@dubasfisher: ๐Ÿคฎ๐Ÿคฎ๐Ÿคฎ๐Ÿคฎ๐Ÿคฎ

@LUFC_WorldWide: This is an abomination. Is there anybody who genuinely like this? Calling it, sells 50% less than last years home kit

@LufcLuca_: oooo. I really like the colour. think thatโ€™s nice

@DaleAndrewB: Not sure about this. I do like the collar though….

@Xander_LUFC: Be fuming if this is the kit, wtf is that

@rdent_: that is absolutely horrendous

@JoshCheetham91: I was buzzing when we announced Adidas but what the fuck is this abomination?

@joethesimp: Canโ€™t say Iโ€™m in love, Iโ€™m not too sure how I feel

@KaiserChief82: Looks a bit comic bookโ€ฆ whereโ€™s that wank salute badge they made would look at home on this.

@TerenceLUFC: State of this

@LUFCWilko: Been disappointed with Adidas so far I canโ€™t lie

@Js_Sampson: That collar is atrocious. Please, no.

@EmmaSmileHolmes: I hope not. I really really hope not. ๐Ÿคฎ

@sideb4self: Could have made the sponsor a bit bigger ๐Ÿ‘€ Jesus wept with the Ken Bates navy blue and yellow as well!

@littleCRACKx: Absolutely grim

@VidukaEra: Itโ€™s not awful. Not a fan of the yellow on the sbotop logo though

@5uperLeeds: Kappa > adidas #lufc

@BakkeYardTV: Usually get it right with these. I like

@leedsthat: Grandad collar! Weโ€™ll see bamford hitting an absolute screamer and weโ€™ll all want this shirt! #lufc
