ITV commentators have been forced to apologise for a cheeky chant sung by West Ham United fans during the FA Cup clash at Derby County.
ITV couldn’t stay silent after hearing the chanting from West Ham’s travelling faithful with commentator Seb Hutchinson saying sorry for swearing during the first half of their Fourth Round tie on Monday.
It came after Jarrod Bowen put the visitors in front inside the opening 10 minutes at Derby’s Pride Park, leading to West Ham supporters breaking into a rather loud chorus of “How s*** must you be, we’re winning away?”
Fantastic support from the 4700 @WestHam fans who travelled to Derby on a Monday night for the FA Cup
Pleased to report no issues or Incidents reported. Now on to Man utd……
Shame it will be another midweek game as always prefer weekend cup games

Seb Hutchinson issued an apology for the viewers watching on before going on to say why the supporters are so stunned at the scoreline.
The away end also sang: “Your ground’s too big for you”, before Derby’s home support sang back: “Your ground’s a running track.”
West Ham eased past the Rams with a routine win, ending the League One side’s 19-game unbeaten run; Jarrod Bowen and Michail Antonio were on target for David Moyes, who now faces a trip to former club Man Utd in the fifth round late February.
West Ham midfielder Pablo Fornals on ITV: “Everyone knows it hasn’t been an easy season so every game we can win gives us massive confidence.
“We work hard every day in training to get a chance and then you have to take it. That’s what the players tried to do tonight.
“In this situation, every player wants to help.”
West Ham goalscorer Jarrod Bowen tells ITV: “It was nice to get two against Everton and then score again tonight.
“A goal gives any player big confidence. It’s really good for me but for us it’s two wins on the bounce and it’s all about momentum that we can use as a springboard.”
On Michail Antonio scoring: “Massive goal for Micky. We’ve been working on tap-in goals. It was at a crucial time to get a firmer hold of the game.”
On facing United in the next round: “I only found out on the bench, I asked Dec [Declan Rice] and he said ‘we’ve got United away’.
“It’s never easy but if we want to be successful in this competition we have to beat top teams. It will be a tough game they are a top, top team but we’ve been there plenty of times before.”
Derby County manager Paul Warne on ITV: “In fairness, West Ham came with a professional team and performance.
“At times we went toe-to-toe we just didn’t create enough to score but I can’t knock the lads for effort. I asked them to be the best version of themselves and they were.
“It was League One against Premier League and their frontline was worth £100million.
“We just didn’t have enough craft in the final third.
“Good luck to West Ham… I know they’ve got an easy draw next.”
On conceding early in the second half: “We spoke at half time and said there isn’t much wrong, we just probably didn’t win enough second balls or finish off our attacks.
“But they kept breaking on us and pretty much every player on the pitch was quicker than ours and that’s a problem on the counter. To concede early in the second half is a punch in the solar plexus
“I had booked a hotel for Wembley and the FA Cup final but hopefully I can get a refund for that. Look, we wanted to go as far as we could and maybe we did.
“West Ham were better on the night and we didn’t embarrass ourselves. Back to the league now and hopefully we’ll be celebrating at the end of the season.”
On the injury to Max Bird: “Unfortunately, I had to take Max Bird off. He’s damaged his groin.”
West Ham’s David Moyes said: “We have done the job and we got through.
“I didn’t think we played as well as I’d have liked us to play in the whole game but, look, first half wasn’t so good but we got a goal in front and we played a bit better in the second half and got the goal early which gave us a good chance.
“So, look, job done. Getting through in the cup is always important and we did it relatively well.
“Every time I mention Kidderminster, I nearly take a deep breath because you can quickly go out of the cup, it doesn’t matter who you play.
“But this was a difficult game because they’ve gone 16 games unbeaten. I don’t really care what league you’re in because the big thing is you get momentum or you’re playing well.
“You’ve seen that with Wrexham and you’ve seen it in other cup games too over the years when they become difficult.
“In the end, we got the goals and Jarrod got another goal which helps and Micky got another goal tonight and, in the main, we probably did a pretty good professional job on them.
“I think the biggest thing for me is that I want to have a squad of players who are all driven to play and we can put any one of them into the team.
“We looked tonight to get Flynn Downes, Ben Johnson and Pablo Fornals minutes as they’ve maybe not has as many as I’d like to have given them.
“But they have to show by their performance that they can step in and the other thing, because we’ve got European football coming up, I want to see which of the boys can play on a Thursday and a Sunday when we’re going to play hugely important Premier League games.
“I wanted to get through in the cup and we did. I want to give the supporters something to shout about, whether it’s a European final or a cup final at Wembley. One of them would be great.”
