Huge teasing development emerges on Gareth Bale potentially joining Cardiff

A huge teasing development emerges on Gareth Bale potentially joining Cardiff City has emerged, a this has got everyone excited.

Bluebirds fans are on the edge of their seats at the thought of the Wales international potentially joining the Championship club with his last club being Real Madrid.

Gareth Bale’s future took a potential new twist a week or so ago with the bookies tipping the skipper to head to MLS this summer.

The 32-year-old’s future has become the source of strong intense speculation in recent months, following his exit from Real Madrid on a free transfer earlier this summer.

According to SkyBet, Bale is 8/15 on to join ‘Any MLS club’ this summer, with odds for previous favourites Cardiff City now drifting to 7/4.

However, that could all be about to change again after Glen Williams of Wales Online issued a new article, with Gareth Bale visiting the training base of his hometown club on Wednesday.

He reportedly turned up and spoke with Cardiff manager Steve Morison for the first time.

Glen Williams adds that he is told that Bale is expected to make a decision in coming days, plans to go on holiday again on the 16th of July and Vincent Tan is keeping very close tabs on it.

Others may laugh at the suggestion of Cardiff being any kind of option for Bale, however this is the closest we’ve come to him giving some sort of hint to where he goes next.

He has a lot of thinking to do, but with club chiefs having held talks with the player’s representatives over the last few weeks, and then this latest appearance, there is reason to get hopes up.

The 32-year-old has a number of offers on the table as he looks to find a new team, having already guided Wales to their first World Cup in 64 years with victory against Ukraine at the Cardiff City Stadium.

The EFL season starts late July, with Bale to go on holiday with family just before then.

Wales Online understands that he reported at the club’s Vale of Glamorgan HQ on Tuesday morning to undertake some physio work with the FAW’s medical staff, though his presence in the building didn’t go unnoticed by Cardiff’s players, either, who also were there for the first day of pre-season training.

Sources claim Morison spoke with Bale and the player’s future was discussed and has told the club he is set to make his decision in the coming days, rather than leave it until he is back from his trip with loved ones next month.

As stated at the top of the article, Vincent Tan is keeping an very close eye on latest events regarding Bale. Should he decide he wants to join the Championship outfit, it would be a huge boost to any hopes of getting back to the Premier League.

To win the league, Cardiff are 22/1 to do so according Sky Bet while it’s 13/2 to win promotion with the same bookmakers.

Wales Online say Cardiff chairman Mehmet Dalman is understood to be in dialogue with Bale’s representatives, with details of any proposed deal not clear, though he would only be on a basic wage of what Cardiff’s top earners are on today, with finances being made up through other means.

This paragraph is certainly interesting: “While nothing is set in stone just yet, Bale’s conversation with Morison is no doubt a step in the right direction if a deal is to get over the line.

“At present, Cardiff are planning and recruiting as though Bale is not coming and should he come, it will very much be viewed as a bonus to supplement the squad.”

Fans reacted as the huge teasing development emerges on Gareth Bale potentially joining Cardiff…

@TomNeville97: Glen I’m not gay in the slightest but reading this tweet made me extremely horny. Thank you

@CCFCJaden: COME HOME GARETH

@connordavies612: This is as close as it will ever possibly for us, The absolute scenes when he signs will be crazy. Party Down the CCS I reckon

@Dai_Doniol: Fuck, it might actually happen…!

@TheHenryCheal: Steve Morison is actually the one

@gavthemal: Think he will be happy to be back home, and certainly not for the money

@hayden_jonesss: SM has managed to convince a few of the new players with his presentations- hopefully same done today

@Monty_Official_: He doesn’t really need to prove himself anymore though does he? He’s the most successful British footballer of all time. Let him enjoy the end of his career, im sure he’ll have plenty fun.

@JacobGriff40: Definitely had his medical today! 👀😆

@JacobGriff40: Be announced before he goes on holiday on Friday I reckon. I hope they got plenty of shirts ready 👍🏻🐦

@CCFCEthan21_: Fucking hell, Steve Morison WHAT A MAN

@Jake_Elf24: Wow, it might just happen, Viva Gareth Bale

@Burnett__27: Trying not to get carried away with this is getting very hard…

@jamesmcl97: Surely not.

@morganmcgrath23: Jesus ducking Christ, Gareth bale is coming to little old Cardiff 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿💙

@AlanLUFC_ : What a signing btw

@sharemyyear: Pretty obvious this isn’t it? 6 month deal, paid next to nothing but won’t play every game and won’t train everyday. More beneficial to Bale than Cardiff other than shirt sales

@Jay89R: If they pull this off it’d be a massive signing. Definitely propel them into at least playoff contention you’d think

@JtotheRain: May as well be player manager, as if he’s taking orders off Steve Morison

@BrettStorey73: Haha worked with some of the best managers in world football, now potentially Morison 😳

@29Tommy53: Bale in the Championship would be absolutely mental and I am all for it

@DJbluebird1927: Well that’s me not sleeping for a few days

@JoeAckland: ITS FUCKING HAPPENING

@SWPalace: This is the kind of signing we love to see

@lewis_creedon: This is insane 😂😂😂😂

@ianmackay88: Is it really going to happen? Please don’t wait until July 16th to announce, I’ll end up going mad.
