As mentioned by GrimsbyLive, Jolley admitted after defeat at Oldham that he would going to start being ruthless in decisions with players as the season comes to a close.
He said: “I’m looking at people within the squad and saying ‘do you want to be part of this moving forward?’ And ‘can you help the team moving forward?’”.
“At the moment, some people are doing that much better than others. Football is such a fluid situation.
“Clearly, we have got people with contracts who will probably be here.
“But at the end of the day, we need people to perform consistently and show that they can really help the team win games.
“We’re going to have to be ruthless in terms of making sure that we move forward with the people that can help us to move forward.”
