Fans took to give their reaction to Glenn Tamplin becoming owner of a new club, with many wishing him luck…
To be fair, I see little downside for Romford given their current status. No ground, no budget, little income and the most loyal and hard working small group of guys who have kept the club going for many seasons. I'll watch with interest.

Good luck to you all, every single person that’s been involved with the club and kept it afloat over the last few years have done an amazing job and you deserve everything that is coming to you ⚽️

All the best for you. Think this is a perfect fit for Glenn. No ground, small supporter base and small squad. He can build from the ground up and that will be great for you and him. All those years the club has struggled to stay afloat, this is now your time I hope.

@ScottTruman4: Pleased for all the staff and fans over there, especially magic, will now have a budget and a chance to compete properly. done amazing to keep building squads to stay in the league over the last 10 years with very little. #UTB
@rowjoelane: Excellent news. Really hope it all goes well for you. @glenntamplin has a big heart and will make things happen quickly. Best of luck.
@billy_bamber_95: I bet a lot of people in Romford don’t even know they have a football team. Get them playing back in Romford and build a community club. I am interested to see how it works out.
@RomfordReject: Well done Steve and Colin. This could be the start of something
