Alejandro Garnacho gives a brutal response to the Man Utd YouTuber fan ‘Planet Faz’ who told him to improve his game.
It took place outside Old Trafford, with Garnacho meeting fans and signing merchandise prior to the team’s victory over PAOK in the Europa League.
The 20 year old Argentinian winger has contributed six goals and four assists across all competitions, yet he has managed only one goal in his last six league appearances.
It has been a mixed season for United however, with the club currently sitting 13th place, leading to the dismissal of Erik ten Hag as manager last week.
Interim manager Ruud van Nistelrooy has managed to stabilise the situation, guiding the Red Devils to their first Europa League win of the season with a 2-0 victory over the Greek team PAOK.
But fans are still clearly feeling frustrated, as seen before the match, Garnacho being approached by Planet Faz, who has since received backlash online.
This isn’t useful or constructive. It’s insulting and unnecessary. Fair play to Garnacho for putting him in his place.

Wanting a player to get better and telling them that, as you have high expectations for them, is now considered rude. You’re all hypocrites. End of.
— Faz (@planetfaz) November 7, 2024
Ex bro I highlighted 3 things I want him to do better cause I think HE CAN. Never said anything else 😅 + I’ve been going to every game 4 hours prior for years now to big them up after good games as well. I said what I say on 🎥 face to face, respectfully
— Faz (@planetfaz) November 8, 2024
As can be seen above, the YouTuber said: ‘Garnacho, you got to pass better today yeah, please. Pass better today, score a goal, and work on your first touch as well, yeah?’
Afterwards, he turned to Planet Faz and said: ‘Why are you not playing man?’
The YouTuber then said: ‘He did not like that, eh?’
Planet Faz who has over 26,000 subscribers, says on his YouTube channel: ‘Welcome to Planet Faz! I’m Faz, a match-going football fanatic! I go to every single Manchester United game! Men, Women and Youth games in Old Trafford! I try to attend games in the youth football facilities too!
‘On this channel, you’ll find exclusive matchday squad clips, clips from the BEST SEATS in the stadium (I SIT [sic] BEHIND TEN HAG) & regular live streams relating to football and other sports! Occasionally some vlogs and other content too!’
After being criticised online, Planet Faz defended himself: ‘Wanting a player to get better and telling them that, as you have high expectations for them, is now considered rude,’ adding ‘You’re all hypocrites. End of.’
The Red Devils picked up their first win in Europe for 380 days, beating the Greek champions thanks to two goals from Amad Diallo; United’s last European victory came against FC Copenhagen in October 2023.

Twitter users gave their reaction as Garnacho gives a brutal response to a Man Utd YouTuber fan who told him to improve his game…
@Shabby_The_Red: The blokes a moron pal. Getting all the attention he craves now 🤦🏻♂️
@JamesyCantona: Why wait to abuse a young player who has probably been our best player this season. You can be sure he is a day tripper and won’t be back at OT for a good few years.
@UtdMenace: Some weird begs out there, imagine getting the attention of one of our players, only to talk crud and get owned 😩😩😂😂😬
@BrysonAnalysis: They’re not fans they’re clowns looking for social media clout.
@joeleigh95: We’re all allowed an opinion & to think a player isn’t good enough, but it must be annoying for players when people who can’t do half of what they can do with a ball, try telling them what they should be doing.
@SwidL: Folk like this don’t deserve tickets 🤦🏽♂️
@sport_simon: Met Garnacho a few weeks ago in Altrincham and my daughter had her pic taken with him. Really nice guy. Would be a shame if he decided not to interact any more because of people like this.
@Cam_boww: Hahahaha “why you not playing?” Because he’s a clueless fuckwit with two left feet – Garnacho has gone up in my estimations
@adampedlow: Actually love that from Garnacho. All these social media nerds fishing for likes most likely never kicked a ball in his life
@Shi14nd: Just no need for this. We’ll drive the players out of the Club with idiots like this bloke provoking them.
@SMGriff11: Imagine being a grown man and saying this to a top young footballer. Div
@jamiedwns: Couldn’t despise our fan base any more. Probably had a united tracksuit on and has been waiting there all day to make a video
@GarethFox: @agarnacho7 Do what we know you can do don’t listen to the guy in this video you know what to do well done for pitting him in his place 👏👏👍👍👏👏
@simonhknapp: The amount of helmets defending this pillock in this thread tells you all you need to know about many of our ‘fans’ these days.
@philallen84: Need to cut these idiots dead by not interacting at all. There’s a reason why he does it, and we’re literally helping them achieve it. People need to learn not to re post this type of shite and let them rot
@CharlieGWright: Fans like this shouldn’t be allowed in the stadium🤦🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️
@KasharRaja: Honestly hate some of our fanbase. Shit like this is so weird and insulting. Time for these people to grow up.
@jordvnthompson_: We’ve got the worst fanbase out there. Match going fans are all divs and the Twitter nonsense that these fake YouTube United fans create causes moments like this. Idiots
@skinnywinger: He’s a young lad, signing autographs for kids. A grown man doing this stuff for tic-tok likes or whatever is 💯 weird.
@akykent: @planetfaz Not a good look, the feedback may be right but doing it this way is not cool. Maybe it was done just for clicks. Who knows but if the shoe was on the other foot and someone called faz out for being a naff influencer wannabe. He would not like it. 🧐
