Fulham commentators go viral with emotional reaction to Rodrigo Muniz’s late winner at Chelsea, stunning everyone inside Stamford Bridge.
Goals from Harry Wilson and Rodrigo Muniz turning the match after Cole Palmer’s wonderful opener, Chelsea seven points behind Premier League leaders Liverpool after they beat Leicester – and Reds have a game in hand.
Substitute Rodrigo Muniz scored the winner late into six minutes of stoppage time, sending the away end wild.
Chelsea had looked as though they were putting pressure on Premier League pace-setters Liverpool when Cole Palmer scored in the 16th minute.
Fulham prevented that however, netting two late goals as Chelsea’s title aspirations suffered a serious setback especially with Liverpool going on to beat Leicester in the 8pm kick off on Boxing Day.
This was also the Cottagers’ first win at Stamford Bridge in 45 years.

Sensational limbs from Fulham.
No win at Stamford Bridge for 45 years and they’ve gone there on Boxing Day and come from 1-0 down on 82 minutes to win it with a 95th minute goal in front of the away end.
What a way to end the run of results.

Fulham boss Marco Silva told BBC Sport: “Football is about connections. Connections between fans, players and staff, means something really big. The most important thing is for the fans. It’s not about me at all.
“Some of the speeches before the game were about the fans. It’s been a long time [not winning at] their neighbours. We deserved it. We controlled more of the game. We didn’t give them chances.
“We created big problems for them. Second half we had more bodies in the box and we created more problems.
“It wll be one of the best Boxing Days for the fans in the last 50 years.
“In the second half we started to make better decisions. All the good actions of the game give us confidence.”
On Cole Palmer’s goal: “We should have been better position – the space betwen Andreas and Sasa was too big – better communication. The quality, the way he turns, the way he passed to the goal, he didn’t shoot, he’s a player of top calibre.
“We improved. From that moment we kept him more quiet.
“Harry started the last game. It’s so nice to see him. It’s not a coincidence we’re the team with the most goals coming from bench. The players know in some moments you can be decisive in 30 minutes. He’s a really crucial player for us. He didn’t start the season like he wanted but since he had more confidence and more time on the pitch, he can make the difference.”
Fulham goalscorer Harry Wilson told BBC Sport: “Amazing. The scenes at the end seeing the fans like that was amazing.
“To give them that to cheer about, we’re buzzing.
“The way we reacted was amazing. We had a back five but our wing-backs were so high, we pushed them back at times.
“In the last 30 minutes we were the team pushing and deserved to win.
“I thought I was offside but didn’t realise someone [was behind me].
“When I’m on the bench I just want to come on and help the team.
“We’re on a really good run. We wanted to keep that monentum going today. I thought we did enough to win it.
“I’m not happy being on the bench but the last few games I have started. I feel I’ve done my part for the team. Hopefully I’ll be in from the start against Bournemouth in a couple of days.”
Chelsea head coach Enzo Maresca speaking to Amazon Prime: “The first 10-15 minutes of the second half, we conceded too much transition to them. We could have controlled it much better. Then I think the game was there, but unfortunately we conceded that late goal.
“We could have managed the game better, especially the second half. It’s a team with Alex Iwobi, Adama Traore and Raul Jimenez who are good in transition. We could have avoided that, but it’s a game that we can learn many things.
“It’s just a game that we lost unfortunately. Now it’s a matter of recovery and try to go again in three days.”
On title credentials: “I said many times that we are not title contenders because we win a game or lose a game. It’s the feeling that we have inside. It’s the reality for us and this is the reason why. The best thing we can do is to just focus on game by game and see the things that we can improve.”
Chelsea striker Cole Palmer, speaking to Amazon Prime: “To lose at the end is difficult.
“In the first half we played well, controlled the game and had quite a few chances. Second half we lost a bit of control. They are a good transition team and direct. We got caught up in their game and paid the price.
“We turned it into a game they are better than us at. It is fine, we have another game in a few days. Keep going.
“We knew we were not going to win every game we play. Everyone said from the start we are not title contenders.
“The manager said it was an opportunity to learn, we will look back on it and rest and recover.
“It is football and it happens. We lost control for 20 minutes and the scored two, so well done Fulham.”
“We knew we weren’t going to win every single game…”
