FourFourTwo predicts the 2025/26 National League table

Check out more of FourFourTwo’s predicted National league table for 2025/26 below…

16) BOREHAM WOOD – FourFourTwo said in their verdict: “Luke Garrard will be looking to make Wood one of the National League’s toughest nuts once again after a year away.

“They’ve lost stalwart Ty Marsh as well as Kwesi Appiok a big part of last season’s promotion, but the spine of the squad – including a battle-hardened back line – have fared well at this level before. 16th”

15) BOSTON – FourFourTwo said in their verdict: “The Pilgrims looked certain to make an instant return to the National League North last year, before Graham Coughlan arrived in November.

“The former Newport County gaffer organised and cajoled his side into o remarkable escape, averaging two points per game from March to May.

“Handling the transition to going full-time will be vital to beating the drop again. 15th”

14) HALIFAX – FourFourTwo said in their verdict: “Once again, the Shaymen’s star performers move on. Ryan Galvin and captain Adam Senior have joined Barnet, midfielder Jack Evans is stepping up to Harrogate and, most damagingly of all, manager Chris Millington has left after two top-seven finishes.

“But his replacement, Adam Lakeland, is highly rated, having earned opportunity with successful spells at Curzon Ashton, Farsley Celtic and King’s Lynn. 14th”

13) SOLIHULL – FourFourTwo said in their verdict: “After Matty Taylor replaced Barrow-bound Andy Whing in January, a worrying slide brought brief relegation fears, but a late-season turnaround took Moors well clear.

“While the gaffer’s playing career at the top level provides useful contacts, the big coup is Dan Creaney, who hit 19 goals as Tamworth defied all odds in 2024-25 and, at 30, couldn’t turn down full time football. 13th”

12) ALDERSHOT – FourFourTwo said in their verdict: “An FA Trophy win backed by nearly 20,000 fans Wembley was a reminder of what a big club the Shots can be. Tommy Widdrington knows they need to be less leaky if they’re to improve on 16th, though.

“Losing skipper Aaron Jones to Sutton and Jack Barham to Chelmsford is a blow, but Tristan Abrahams brings promotion nous and Ryan Hill adds attacking intent. 12th”

11) HARTLEPOOL – FourFourTwo said in their verdict: “Pools are another, head-scratcher, as owner Raj Singh is yet to sell to interested bidders despite initially saying he would fund the club only until the end of 2024-25.

“Simon Grayson is a coup on paper, but he hasn’t managed in England since 2021 and never before at this level. 11th”

10) YEOVIL – FourFourTwo said in their verdict: “Fans are positive due to a takeover and shifting the training base to north Bristol for recruitment purposes, plus Tahvon Campbell’s signing.

“Mark Cooper is an old hand in this league and last year’s 18th place finish doesn’t reflect how clear of trouble they were throughout. 10th”

9) SUTTON – FourFourTwo said in their verdict: “Though they only finished 12th, Steve Morison’s youthful squad will be one year better for the experience.

“The former Cardiff boss is once again trusting in lower-league potential: Jaiden White, Edon Pruti, Liam Vincent, Mo Dabre and Kane Crichlow are all stepping up a tier and will be hungry for their big opportunity. 9th”
