The FourFourTwo magazine have predicted them to finish in 16th place for the 2025/26 League One campaign.

25/26 FFT VERDICT: “the Posh have many ‘project players’, but only Sam Hughes and Archie Collins to truly depend on.

“Talented attacking trio Kwame Poku, Ricky Jade-Jones and Malik Mothersille have all departed this summer.”

The FourFourTwo magazine predicted the club to finish in 5th place for the 2024/25 League One campaign – instead they finished 18th.

15) STEVENAGE

The FourFourTwo magazine have predicted them to finish in 15th place for the 2025/26 League One campaign.

25/26 FFT VERDICT: “Led by Carl Piergianni, Boro had a top-eight defence last term, but there’s no loan star Murphy Cooper in goal any more and the attack lacks guile.

“Both the midfield depth and managerial setup looks strong, however.”

The FourFourTwo magazine predicted the club to finish in 19th place for the 2024/25 League One campaign – instead they finished 14th.

14) WIGAN

The FourFourTwo magazine have predicted them to finish in 14th place for the 2025/26 League One campaign.

25/26 FFT VERDICT: “Wigan score just 40 goals last term, and are hoping that Dara Costelloe and Paul Mullin can add firepower to a strong spine.

“It’s hard to see them pushing on from mid-table, especially if goalkeeper Sam Tickle leaves.”

“There is potential, though performances and results in his 10 games last season were underwhelming.”
