After Keith Hill was sacked by Rochdale yesterday, we’ve taken a look at who are favourites for the job at Spotland.
The departure came following their 2-0 defeat at league leaders Luton Town, ending his spell where he managed 570 games in his two spells in charge and winning 235 of them.
Dale currently sit 22nd in the League One table after winning just once in 12 games since Boxing Day and are now five points adrift of safety after five straight defeats.
Take a look at who are the top six favourites below and on the next page.
6) JIM GANNON
Gannon is the current manager of high flying National League North side Stockport County (third spell) who are looking to finally get out of the league they’ve been stuck in since the 2013/14 season.
Stockport are currently 22 games unbeaten this season, but sit second in the table behind Chorley.
Gannon, 50, has managed Northwich Victoria, Port Vale, Peterborough United, Motherwell and Dundalk. He has also played for Shelbourne, Crewe Alexandra, Notts County, Stockport County, Halifax Town, Sheffield United and Dundalk.
He did win the League Two playoffs with the Hatters back in 2008.

Darrell Clarke has been without a job since leaving Bristol Rovers on the 13th of December.
The departure came after the League One side lost seven out of 10 games in all competitions and sat 21st with just four points from safety.
His only other job as manager was with Salisbury City between 2010 and 2013. Of the 157 games managed, he won 84, drew 35 and lost 38.
