Fans have been left unhappy on social media as manager Gareth Southgate names the England squad for the three October fixtures.
The Three Lions are set to take on Wales in an international friendly on the 8th of October, before then taking on Belgium and Denmark in Nations League games on the 11th and 14th of October.
The last time that England were in action was a rather dull goalless affair against Denmark. That was also nearly the case in their game against Iceland a few days earlier Raheem Sterling scoring from the spot in the 91st minute.

The outbreak of coronavirus forced March friendlies against Italy and Denmark to be cancelled, along with pre-tournament games against Romania and Austria.
In June, UEFA gave the go ahead for the Nations League, with England looking to build on 2019’s third-place finish in the inaugural year of the tournament.
Take a look at the squad Gareth Southgate names for the upcoming three games next month..

Gareth Southgate on calling up Dominic Calvert-Lewin for the first time: “He’s been in the pathway through the U21s, had a good season last season.
“A lot of Dominic’s game I’ve liked for a long time, what he’s adding now is the goals that haven’t always been there and in the last 18 months or so he has really improved in that area.
“He’s been a big part of Everton’s starting the season as well as they have and I’m very pleased to be able to call him up for the first time.”
