An ex-Tottenham Hotspur player is set to sue a socialite after she claimed that he paid her £5,000 for sex, according to reports this week.
Victor Wanyama, who is now playing his football at MLS side Montreal Impact, has revealed he will take legal action against 19-year-old socialite named Shakila after she claimed he paid her the four figure sum for sexual intercourse.
A video circulated on social media recently which claimed the ex-Premier League midfielder had paid the teenager for a one-night stand.

During an Instagram Live interview with Mandela, Shakila made the revelation, that she had been paid for sex by several famous Kenyans , including Khaligraph Jones and Wanyama.
After a backlash, Shakila decided to then apologise to rapper Jones via Instagram, saying that she was under the influence of alcohol at the time – though insists her other claims were true.
Footballer Wanyama has since hit back with a statement on Twitter furiously denying the “false and insulting” allegations.
The player claimed both Shakila and publisher Mandela (Xtien Dela) were using the lie to boost their online presence. Rather sick right, if true?

Wanyama wrote: “My attention has been drawn to a video circulating online containing false, fabricated and insulting allegations aimed at scandalising my good name and reputation.
“I wish to distance myself completely from the contents of this defamatory video.
“The allegations made therein are a total fabrication and a figment of the maker’s imagination at best.
“I have NEVER met any party in the video.
“I strongly condemn the actions of both the woman in the video and the publisher of the video Arthur Mandela via his Instagram account @Xtiandela for encouraging the disparagement of character of individuals based on false accusatory statements.
“The allegations made are manifestly fictitious clearly meant to boost the online audience of both the maker and of the insulting allegations and publisher of the video.”
Wanyama’s statement continued: “I have worked long and hard to build my character and standing in the society.
“Such malicious, scandalising and false assertions about my name and character are UNACCEPTABLE to me, my family and institutions who have placed great trust in me.
“I am prepared to go to great lengths to protect my good name and character.
“Consequently, and with the blessing of my management team, I have instructed my legal team to pursue ALL legal remedies available to me and to which I have the unreserved right to seek.
“That is all I wish to state.”
In an Instagram post, Shakila had earlier apologised to Jones for her claim.
She wrote: “Am being forced to do this public apology cause I damaged @khaligraph_jones public image by whatever that I said yesterday due to influence of alcohol and reverse psychology.
“Papa Jones am sorry.
“The rest mentioned were true and any claims raised will not be taken and dealt with personally.”
Fans reacted after seeing that the ex-Tottenham player is to sue the socialite after she claimed he paid her £5,000 for sex…
This is the shittiest suggestion I’ve read whole day. Victor Wanyama has a brand image to protect. If you can fuck and get away with the scandals, he can’t because he’s answerable to the team he’s attached to. So don’t think he’s gonna keep silent and risk contract termination

The thing is, how on Earth are Wanyama’s Lawyers going to prove in court that the Wanyama that was mentioned was their client? ???

The problem of commenting to the assholes. All Wanyama could have done is to ignore, now he will be talking point in all sporty magazine platforms and so on @GNWafula

No one believes this crap. It’s obviously for publicity which the present day 19 year old female craves, for Instagram likes. VW should have ignored.
