Fans hit out at Wolves over the new ‘rip off’ adult match ticket prices which have been announced for the 2024/25 season.
For those supporters in the Billy Wright upper, they look at having fork out £71, while it’s £56 for those the North Bank to watch them in the Premier League, with it being the most expensive ticket in the ground.
As per Express & Star, it means that price of £71 has gone up by £7.50, with their report adding that it saw an increase of £3.50 the year before.
“some increases”? £71 for a Cat A match in the BW Upper?
Some ripoff more like.

WOLVES STATEMENT:
Preparations for the 2024/25 Premier League season at Molineux and on the road are taking shape, with a number of ticketing updates relating to the match-to-match ticket sales process, prices, away tickets and seasonal smartcards.
Home ticket information
Following a successful first campaign, Gary O’Neil’s second term in charge of the Old Gold begins next month and supporters purchasing tickets on a game-by-game basis can secure their seat for the opening three home matches from Tuesday 23rd July.
As in previous seasons, all 19 Premier League fixtures have been placed into three different categories, A, B and C, depending on the opposition.
For Category A matches, adult ticket prices range from £37 to £71. The majority of seats available are priced at £37 in the Graham Hughes Stand or £56 in the Stan Cullis Quadrant, with limited availability in the Billy Wright and Steve Bull Stands, including 76 tickets in Billy Wright Centre, 273 in Billy Wright Wing and 595 in Steve Bull Upper.
Category B matches see adult prices ranging from £35 to £60. The majority of seats are £35 in the Graham Hughes Stand or £48.50 in the Stan Cullis Quadrant. If visiting fans occupy the Stan Cullis Quadrant, adult prices in the Steve Bull lower stand are £53.50.
For Category C matches, adult tickets range from £26.50 to £40, with most seats priced at £26.50 in the Graham Hughes Stand and £35 in the Steve Bull lower stand.
As with 2024/25 season tickets, under-14 category ticket prices across the stadium remain unchanged, and when accompanied by and seated next to an adult, young supporters can take advantage of prices from just £8.50 for category A and B matches and just £6.50 for category C matches.
Following discussions with the Wolves Fan Advisory Board, the ticket release schedule will be updated for the 2024/25 season. Instead of releasing tickets one game at a time, groups of matches will now be made available on the same date.
For instance, tickets for the opening three home games against Chelsea, Newcastle United, and Liverpool will be available to Member+ holders starting Tuesday 23rd July then available to remaining members on Thursday 25th July.
Groups of matches and approximate sales dates for the remainder of the season are as follows:
Late August
Manchester City, 19th October
Crystal Palace, 2nd November
Southampton, 9th November
Early October
AFC Bournemouth, 30th November
Ipswich Town, 14th December
Manchester United, 26th December

Everton, 8th March
Mid-January

Away ticket information
The sale process for away league matches will follow that of previous seasons with sales opening to gold away season ticket holders followed by silver away season tickets holders and then season ticket holders with specified loyalty point totals. Initially loyalty points will reflect totals from the 2023/24 season before switching to reflect 2024/25 points totals at a suitable point during the season.
Season ticket smartcards
Supporters who have renewed the same seat at the same price category will continue to use their existing smartcard, however supporters who have changed their seat or price category, as well as new season ticket holders, will receive a new smartcard through the post prior to 16th August. At a suitable point during the season the club will begin to offer supporters the chance to change their entry method from smartcard to smartphone entry.

As mentioned, fans hit out at Wolves over the new ‘rip off’ adult match ticket prices announced for the 2024/25 season…
@wthmss: £71 to see a football match 😭
@ShaineRafferty8: £71 wow! We better be fighting for Europe with prices like that
@tjayjayb: Gonna be some empty seats next season
@LJNwwfc: I’ve been priced out of supporting my football club. I’m gutted and would give an arm to hold a season ticket like I did as a kid but £50 to stand in the NB for a single game is ludicrous money that I’m sure many cannot justify. Add to that travel, food and membership, its crazy
@TheDowg: I love football and have been to getting on for 1500 matches (Wolves and England) but I’m getting closer to the point where I can no longer afford to go, or at least no longer justify it. I already forego other things. I still need to eat and pay the bills. Middle class sport now
@kyle_france_: £71. it’s not football anymore
@charlll18x: Disgrace
@SW2096: Absolutely extortionate, over £56 behind the goals for Cat A and almost £50 for Cat B? Shameful.
@andybullyuk: Robdogs!
@DaveSaville2: So disappointed in my club…. Wolverhampton is a working class city, we are being out priced by our own club…. my family, my dad, my grandad.. his father all followed Wolves throughout…. now we cant afford to take our children and grandchildren…. not at these prices 😡😡😡😡
@sligo79: Yeah, no.
@chriswolves95: £56 for the south bank are you having a laugh.
@CSPerks: Football in general is a complete rip off. More money in the game than ever & fans once again not getting any benefit at all. What’s wrong with £30 a ticket & a player only picking up 40k a week instead of 60k or an agent only getting £2m instead of £5m.
@andybagley1986: Cat C is for the lower league cup games right? If so, who do they think is going to pay £48.50 to watch Ipswich? 😬
@joee290896: Shocking.
@tomtracey12: £71 is a disgrace 🚮
@fc_travel_: £71.00 for a over 21 year old to attend a Wolverhampton Wanderers match… Fuck you @Wolves Fosun out!!!
@wolvesbradders: £56 behind the goal at Molineux. Wow. Going to be plenty of games going to general sale this year. Bargain £37 to sit in the uncovered Graham Hughes and get soaked most weeks. £35 for 18-21 year-olds. In a student city. Feels like a missed opportunity there. No thanks lads.
@scott_smith9: Wolves have completely misread the room again. After the season ticket uproar these matchday prices are equally scandalous. Almost £50 for a Category B behind the goal ticket is shocking. Sadly my time at Molineux will be very limited next season 😢 Multiple purchases 🤷🏻♂️
@Beds72: £71 notes to watch is against the big 6 in the BW. Piss poor
@JackWWFC__: Your gonna have to do a lot more in the market to justify those prices you little gremlin Jeff
@Darren22_WWFC: Jesus Christ you thieving bastards @Fosun_Intl
@dan_j_1991: You fucking disgusting rat bastards. #fosunout
@Dang93_: £71 for a football match.. Glad I won’t be there next season 😂 Fosun out!!!
@BridgnorthWolf: Wow £56 a game in the NB that’s an absolute disgrace
@wwfc68537: Sounds fair to me. @Wolves don’t let the hard working football fan tell you otherwise.
@Tmzwolves: Such a grim club at times
@acmyya: All the good things Jeff shi has done for the club will be forgotten this season SHI OUT
@_jwynny: Just as we were going into the season with optimism for the first time in about 6 years. Solid effort.
@ArcticRebel78: Was thinking about taking my lad to his first game next season, but at those prices not a chance at all. Shame the club are being so greedy and are totally out of touch with their fan base

Absolutely disgusting prices from the club. The extortionate £71 Billy wright tickets will get the most attention and rightly so, but £53 to sit in the Steve bull lower is a joke, especially when away fans will pay £30 for the same seat! https://t.co/UkinEEgvxV pic.twitter.com/GJISj81DYG
