It was another morning of Premier League sides unveiling their new kits for the upcoming season, this time the turn of Everton and Wolverhampton Wanderers.
Both are home shirts and the first of the two to do so was the Toffees, who have said it’s “inspired by one of Goodison’s most iconic features.”
An EFC logo similar to what was used for the 1991-93 home shirt is also in place on the back of the neck.
It will be worn for the first time when the Blues face Kariobangi Sharks in the SportPesa Trophy in Nairobi, Kenya this Sunday.
That is priced at £55 for adults, shorts at £25 and socks for £12.
Alan McTavish, Commercial Director at Everton, said: “For the 2019-20 season we are combining Umbro’s innovative kit manufacturing techniques and performance enhancing material with a modern design that takes inspiration from the iconic criss-cross Archibald Leitch ironwork on display at Goodison Park.”
Midfielder Tom Davies added: “I really like how Umbro have blended a retro feel into a modern kit, and I think the fans will like it, too. The Archibald Leitch design is synonymous with matchdays at Goodison.”
Next up is Wolves, who have had a change in sponsor. The club already confirmed on the 4th of June that the main sponsor for the shirts will be ManBetX, which are displayed on front on the kits.
Last season, they were with W88, but ditched them for the Malta-based international gaming company instead, some fans were pleased, others gutted as the W was rather fitting with the team name.
There is a subtle all over pattern, two black lines down each side, black shorts and black socks for the first time since 2008.
Prices will be the same as Everton:

2019-20 Wolves Adult Home Shirt: £55
