Everton and Oldham fans brawl at services; blood on bus and windows smashed

A video has been uploaded after Everton and Oldham fans allegedly got into a brawl at a services after Saturday afternoon’s matches.

The Toffees were on their way back from watching their side in Premier League action at Brighton’s AMEX Stadium, while the Latics were travelling back home from fellow League Two side Sutton United. Both Everton and Oldham won their matches.

However, a 26-second clip published onto social media, shows a male narrate what had just taken place at Norton Canes service station in Staffordshire.

He could be heard saying the following in his scouse accent: “No windows, blood, not ours, Oldham’s, it’s just crazy. A load of plod there, madness!”

Norton Canes services was said to have been closed with four police cars and a van quickly arriving to witness a damaged coach.

It is said to have started with bricks thrown at the buses with Everton fans on it at the time.

There are additional videos taken by supporters who went around the coach video recording how the trouble impacted the vehicle.

There is currently no official statements over the incident from clubs or the police, yet clearly video evidence is there with tweets also posted on what happened on Saturday evening.

Here is what some are saying about the incident as well as the video of it via Twitter…

@CFCCath: Smashed up coach at Norton Canes service station and plod there – result of fighting between Everton and Oldham wtf

@chelseafran: Pull in to Norton canes services. Closed, police everywhere. A coach involving football fans ( none of our coaches) has been smashed up. It’s a football game people, it’s not that deep ffs

@tim_rolls: We saw the smashed up, empty coach and 4 police cars. We could not work out what had happened.

@Jackcfc12: Was in the same services a little earlier. Apparently Oldham fans had a big scrap with some Everton fans

@PhilipW23563247: Scouse coach sustained the most injuries

@MaccaTheFourth: Naughty lads

@MeNameIsAlan: Idk but when we stopped at the servo on the way down there was a scrap between an Oldham an Everton fan like, have no idea what it was over

@JasonKi10162637: Oldham smashed you all over the service

@marland_james: Fuckin Everton couldn’t bounce there way out of mother care 😂

@ForeverAYellow: Just seen the video, christ one of these days someone isn’t going to be coming home alive. Only takes on punch to end someone’s life. We’ve seen it happen before. We saw how that non league player died after one blow to the head, then we saw that Southend supporter lose his life after being attacked by a hooligan. How about just go to the game, enjoy it for what it is, and go home back to your loved ones in one piece?!

That wasn’t the only trouble to flare up either, as also on Saturday, Carlisle United fans were condemned for breaking seats at Hartlepool United.

Carlisle took a total of 1,000 fans to Victoria Park, and many of those have called for the individuals responsible for the damage to be punished and banned from attending future matches.

Nick Loughlin took a photo of the carnage, saying in his tweet: “Smart work from the Carlisle massive who smashed up the disabled enclosure in the away end at The Vic today. Well done lads, you must be so proud.”

@CumPolCUFC said: “This behaviour is not acceptable and not that which represents the majority of Carlisle supporters. An ongoing investigation with @ClePolFootball will be conducted into this and other work in the background alongside @officialcufc @CUOSC @CUFC_SLO Watch this space! 👀 #cufc”

@scholes_peter: As a long standing cufc fan I’m utterly ashamed. Find them, punish them harshly, get them to pay and do community service for hartlepool.

@topsandollie: Cctv, press charges and ban them from all grounds. We don’t need these “fans”

@Alex_Jordan85: Can’t say I’m surprised,even though the majority of our away support is superb the local games attract all the muppets that think it’s clever to do stuff like this!

@gingersaiyan9k: Simple bill Carlisle the cost of the damage

@douggyhufc: Police just stood and watched them do it

@MacAttack1980: Bell ends! Embarrassing behaviour.

@MikeyBensonesq: Find them and make them fix it

@miabevan1: Fine the club not the first time these animals have done this
