After it was announced that Southampton’s St Mary’s Stadium would be hosting England v Kosovo in September, fans took to the replies with their thoughts…
Oh even further south than Wembley ? ?

Excellent choice. Not to far for me to travel and makes a nice change from the extortionate parking charges near Wembley.

I’m a London based fan and think this decision is a joke. Why not Leeds / Everton / Sunderland? All similar size grounds. At a time when the countries pride in the national side is so high, this is a kick in the teeth to any fan north of Luton

The huge amount of mixed reaction continued…
Oh everyone stop complaining. Some people love Wembley, some love it when its at local stadiums. They are rotating between games to give everyone a chance

The last 4 games away from Wembley have been Sunderland, Manchester, Leicester and Leeds. Southampton isn’t ideal for me but it’s fair

Excellent choice ? further south the better.

Seriously could have came up North for a change. We always have to do the long distance travelling. Newcastle, Sunderland bigger stadiums & we'd fill them up North.

Fans on south coast can access Wembley fairly easy. Why is this game not in the midlands or the north?

Out of everywhere you could’ve picked you’ve chosen fucking st Mary’s. Fuck me
