EFL fixtures for the 2024/25 season and TV selections revealed

The countdown to the start of the much anticipated 2024/25 season continues, and excitement builds as the EFL fixtures are revealed.

All 72 clubs found out who would play who and when at 9am on Thursday the 26th of June 2024, a few weeks after the Premier League fixture list was released.

The Championship, League One and League Two seasons gets underway on the weekend of 9th/10th/11th of August. This is one week later than the 2023/24 campaign started.

The EFL Trophy Group Stage draw will be fully completed with B Team drawn live on Sky Sports News at 2:30pm on Thursday 27th June. You can see the already pre-determined groups HERE.

The Carabao Cup Round One draw also takes place live on Sky Sports News at 11:30am on Thursday the 27th of June.

Kick-off is set to take place over the weekend of 9/10/11 August 2024, with the regular league campaign ending on the 2nd of May 2025.

The 46 rounds of league matches will take place across 33 weekends, nine midweeks and ofur Bank Holidays in the Championship, with Leagues One and Two playing over 36 weekends, six midweeks and four Bank Holidays.

The Cup and Trophy competitions remain in their current formats with the Carabao Cup beginning in mid-August and the Group Stage of the Bristol Street Motors Trophy, involving League One, League Two and 16 invited under-21 Premier League teams, starting in early September. The Sky Bet Play-Offs will take place over the 2025 May Bank Holiday Weekend.
