EFL club Bradford City share a photo warning fans of the list of items which have been BANNED from their Valley Parade stadium.
The club have taken a picture of a sign which was put up on the walls of their ground, reminding fans what they can’t bring in. The list, seen below, is the case for most Premier League and EFL stadiums across the country including Wembley.
Fair to say it got plenty of talk on social media, and even made some headlines in the media too. Take a look for yourself below…

Bradford said in their statement via their website: “Supporters are politely asked to avoid bringing large bags to the stadium. If bringing food to the venue, smaller, see-through bags sized A4 are preferred.
“Only plastic bottles will be permitted inside the University of Bradford Stadium, with no glass bottles or cans allowed, with liquids over 500ml also not allowed inside the stadium.
“PLEASE NOTE: The use of e-cigarettes inside Valley Parade is strictly prohibited, with pushchairs also not permitted.
“For a full list of prohibited items please see the below image which can also be found at various turnstiles around Valley Parade.”
The picture shows bags larger than A4, aluminium/glass receptacles and plastic bottles over 500ml, alcohol, pushchairs, settle sticks, weapons and tools, large umbrellas, flares, lasers, smoke devices and canisters, large bodied cameras and camcorders, unauthorised musical instruments, drones, flags without fire retardant certification.
The club add that supporters the possession or use of pyrotechnics inside a football ground is strictly prohibited. Those found to be carrying or using pyrotechnics will face a long-term ban, and that it is a criminal offence to enter the pitch at any time. Anyone who does so without permission can expect to face prosecution.
Supporters are told to be courteous when inside the stadium, regards to foul and abusive language, and those who do hear anything offensive while inside the stadium should report it to your nearest steward.
Tragedy chanting and discriminatory abuse isn’t tolerated, while if the match officials hear any abusive or discriminatory chanting during the game, they hold the right to suspend the game, taking the players off the field until further notice. The club could then be fined pending the result of an investigation.
Drinking alcohol inside the stadium bowl, and anywhere outside of concourses, isn’t permitted, while supporters are also not permitted to bring their own alcoholic drinks into the stadium, from outside the premises.
Supporters are told that persistent standing isn’t permitted, and are asked to please ensure you sit only in the allocated seat shown on your ticket.
Those smoking (including e-cigs), drinking in their seat, or behaving offensively, should be reported to your nearest steward.
Bradford also mention there is a zero-tolerance approach towards missile throwing, issue the strongest condemnation is employed towards anti-social behaviour, crowd disorder and misconduct, and illegal activity inside football stadia, and will ensure the strongest-possible action continues to be taken against those found guilty of any offence, including the issuing of Football Banning Orders.

Here’s how fans on social media reacted as the EFL club share list of items BANNED from their stadium…
@Ben24940802: Shit going to have to take my guitar bk home
@Jack_jones067: Oh ffs not gonna be able to take my Xylophone to bradford away now
@Riccles05: No tools?! Result! The atmosphere section must have been banned!
Dan Mids: But you can stand in the kop and upset the older supporters that have to get moved seats whilst singing your going to cry in a minute whilst the stewards stand with them and say nothing yet the kids in the north west stand gets told off for trying to get players autographs as they can’t stand at the bottom of the steps. The ground has become a joke. Given my season ticket away again today as even City have become to two tier policing!!
Grant Thompson: No mention of drugs though. God forbid you bring a pushchair for your child
Neil Sutcliffe: Someone needs to brush up on their spelling. Aliminium, cannisters, retardent ๐
Matthew Emsley: Season Ticket QR Codes weren’t permitted on Saturday. Missed the first goal, cheers lads
Mark Gregg: those of us who travel all day to see a game ๐ always take my little rucksack with water and butties for the 3 hours each way on public transport..
Chris Eabry: Shame, I’ll have to take my guitar home now ๐
Terence Dickinson: Thought that was a golf club in the photo until I read it thinking who brings golf clubs to football
Sam Burton: To be fair, I’ve never needed to take a bag or backpack to the stadium, and the rest of it is common sense, I do think the older generations should get ABIT of a pass bringing 1L flasks of tea or coffee, as people have mentioned below, they aren’t the problem..

Nick Allan: So no hatchet and hammers, bottles and spanners thenz
Matthew Wilkinson: So can we bring aluminium receptacles in?
Thelina Oram: Selfies sticks ๐คฃ๐คฃ
David Greenwood: Bradford City AFC quite a bit of alcohol in Block B Kop lower tier. Loads of persistent standing. People sitting in seats that are not theirs. More than one person to a seat. All against ground regulations but yet your stewards just stand there and do nothing when the regulations state you will be ejected from the stadium if you do any of this. Afraid what you are publicising is a joke, and not a funny one, given what you have allowed in Block B of the Kop lower tier this season.
Daniel Fozzard: Pretty sure standing and drums aren’t allowed or are you just making your own rules up now like the council do. A bit of a waste of police time as well if they’re having to observe the area where the drum is in case anybody kicks off about it.
Stephen Midgley:
No weapons or tools ?
Unbelievable Jeff ๐๐๐
Jason Leach: can’t even take a hip flask in now … the world has gone mad
Ricc Stead: No tools? Have we banned the atmosphere section?!
