Aston Villa’s Douglas Luiz rages at TV host for posting a video objectifying his girlfriend Alisha Lehmann who plays for the women’s team.
Milton Neves, a 71-year-old presenter, sparked fury after tweeting a clip of Lehmann celebrating a goal by jumping and turning her back.
The video, shared on social media, then zooms in on her backside during a goal celebration and ends with the question: ‘Without rewinding the video what number was on her shirt?’
Milton Neves posted the video with the caption ‘watch and comment’, prompting an angry retort from Luiz but the player has since deleted the tweet.
The Brazilian footballer – who confirmed earlier this year that he was in a relationship with Lehmann – slammed Neves as ‘disrespectful’.
‘You’re old, years in soccer and you post a video that does not respect women’s soccer or the player herself, who is also my girlfriend,’ Luiz said on Twitter.
‘You have not learned what respect is, that’s bulls***.’
It is not the first time Neves has said something met with a backlash, with the Brazilian journalist known for his controversial words.
Neves, who has 2.2million followers on Twitter, is also a journalist and presenter for radio and TV stations Grupo Bandeirantes in Brazil.
The video in question was taken from Aston Villa’s 4-3 win over Manchester City on the opening weekend of the new Women’s Super League season, in which Lehmann opened the scoring.

10 months ago, the 22 year old Swiss international uploaded the intimate image to her Instagram story where the pair could be seen having a cheeky kiss, revealing to the world that they are an item.
Lehmann had been in a relationship with Ramona Bachmann, who is a former Chelsea Ladies striker while Alisha’s teammate for Switzerland.
The Villa star previously said that Bachmann was her “idol” when they first started playing alongside each other international level.
They went on to live together in London with Lehmann was at West Ham and Bachmann was at Chelsea.
That was stopped during the pandemic when Bachmann made the difficult decision to join PSG.
“It was hard,” Lehmann told The Telegraph, reflecting on her decision to up sticks and leave.

“But we always said football is first because you can’t play your whole life. So if you have a good offer or are unhappy you need to change because it’s our job, it’s the thing we love the most.”
However, their relationship ended earlier this year and now Aston Villa fans have taken to social media to express their happiness at Luiz and Lehmann getting together.
This is what fans had to say as Douglas Luiz rages at a TV host for posting a video objectifying his girlfriend Alisha Lehmann…
@HenriqueLH91: Good DG, I’m disgusted by this type of comment even more coming from those who got rich through football without ever having kicked a ball, just talking nonsense on TV
@kingarturo45: The question here is not whether she is Douglas Luiz’s girlfriend, but the disrespect, the woman, the athlete, to women’s football as a whole!
@JRVieira10: The idiots here in the comments “he didn’t know she was his girlfriend” You mean if she was another guy’s girlfriend could she? Or rather, if she was a single woman could she? Boyfriend means owner now? Doug is absolutely right, not just because she’s his girlfriend, but a woman.
@catherrrinex: My man Douglas fighting the misogynists 🫶🏼
@TheHolte1874: I love this man. Well said Dougie. 👍
@VillansTime: Tell them 👑
@TheVillaVision: My feminist king 👑
@martinFLA81: Douglas is absolutely right.
@isabellasants__: one error does not justify the other, both cases are wrong. The problem is that he is a public person and being a journalist is the bridge to propagate this type of disservice. And respect the image of the player for her work.
@Jovemcitor: Finally someone is putting this old man in his place
@g4bimuniz: The comments are disgusting. It’s bizarre how people have lost their minds. Douglas is there defending his girlfriend and assholes in the comments just talking shit after shit. Apparently defending the girlfriend and demanding the least respect is wrong. What sick country is this?
@setimoprofeta: Go to hell Milton Neves, working overtime you idiot!
@Saviomz: She can post a picture even showing her ass if she wants, the problem is coming to a disgusting old man talking shit and sexualizing the girl on his Twitter and without her authorization
@AstonVillabrfc: I love you Douglas Luiz! We are tired of seeing so many comments like this, imagine her and people close to her. Respect women in football.
