Dorking’s Marc White “chip shop” comment in post match interview goes viral after his side’s 1-1 draw at Worthing on Bank Holiday Monday.

Around the 4 minutes 30 second mark, in the video below, he shouts “get down the chip shop, fatty!” before quickly apologising and carrying on with the interview.

After speaking for just over 10 minutes, he then ended the interview by saying: “And to the bloke who I said about his chips, to the chip shop, he actually was quite skinny. Yeah to be fair to the guy behind him, yeah I think I picked on the wrong guy. Sorry mate.”

The interview has gone on to get thousands of likes as well as over 500,000 views on Twitter alone…

A near-capacity 2,992 at Woodside Road saw promotion and title-chasing Worthing and Dorking Wanderers share the points, making for quite the final day with SIX teams in the running to lift the trophy.

Worthing started the day at the top, with a distant scenario of the possibility they could clinch the National League South title with a win over Dorking provided there was an unlikely set of results elsewhere.

However, Worthing ended the day sitting 4th – level on points with Eastbourne Borough, and both just a point behind Truro and Torquay, and two points in front of Boreham Wood and Dorking.
