We continue our look at what Sky Sports pundit David Prutton has predicted…
ASTON VILLA v WEST BROM
He said on the Sky Sports website: “I think we can safely say this is going to be a cracker! Both of these sides have known they are going to be in the play-offs for a while – in fact for West Brom it seems like they have been fourth for most of the season – and it also seemed fairly certain for a while that they would be facing each other, so they have had plenty of time to prepare.
“Aston Villa are in the better form, despite dropping points in their tough two final games of the season. For both teams there is plenty of firepower in attack but I just think Dean Smith’s side are the more complete team. I reckon they will win and give the Baggies a bit of a mountain to climb in the second leg.”
The score David Prutton has predicted for this game is: 2-0

SUNDERLAND v PORTSMOUTH
He said on the Sky Sports website: “Until recently, both of these sides had their sights on finishing in the top two. At one point, Sunderland were in pole position to come second at least but their recent form has been poor.
“It’s not been too long since there were more than 80,000 watching these two at Wembley, while they also met in the league at the Stadium of Light to draw 1-1 last month. They will be more familiar with each other and the atmosphere over both legs will be incredible. Draw for me.”
The score David Prutton has predicted for this game is: 1-1

DONCASTER v CHARLTON
He said on the Sky Sports website: “It’s safe to say Doncaster are the major underdogs in the League One play-offs. They have been in and around the top six for a lot of the campaign, but in terms of points accrued you can see they are a little way off the others.
“I worried for Charlton after they lost Karlan Grant in January, but Lyle Taylor has stepped up by himself in attack and they are undoubtedly the form team heading into the play-offs. Lee Bowyer has the experience of losing to Shrewsbury last season and they will fancy their chances this time.”
The score David Prutton has predicted for this game is: 1-1
