We continue our look at the favourites for Wrexham manager…
3rd) ANDY MORRISON
Morrison is the current manager of Connah’s Quay Nomads and has been with them since 2015.
He has been backed by Cefn Druids boss Huw Griffiths to take over at the National League club.
Griffiths said: “At present, he would be perfect for the job,” said Griffiths of Morrison. “His defensive record is very impressive and he would really sort them out.
“Yes, his style is not the purist in terms of football played, but that would come with time.
“The important thing is winning games of football and Andy knows exactly how to do that.
“When a team is down at the bottom end of the table it’s because they are conceding more goals than they are scoring and Andy is someone who can sort that out.
“I’m from Wrexham and I think he would be a wonderful appointment.”
He hasn’t managed any other team, but has played for Plymouth, Blackburn, Blackpool, Huddersfield, Man City, Crystal Palace and Sheffield United.

The former midfielder made 100 appearances for the Red Dragons between 1988 and 1993, scoring five times.
