Crystal Palace and Fulham are to investigate concerning footage of Aleksandar Mitrovic and Luka Milivojevic at a New Year’s Eve party.
Mitrovic’s partner record a video of the players celebrating with at least seven other people at the gathering with different households mixing.
Fulham have already had their last two games called off due to Covid cases, the latest one being against Burnley initially set to take place on Sunday.
Government rules state that people living in a Tier 4 area ‘must not meet socially indoors with family or friends unless they are part of your household or support bubble.’
In another video published to Instagram, Mitrovic is seen playing football with Milivojevic and another man as well as two children.
Janjic subsequently deleted her Instagram account, with Milivojevic’s wife Milica having been tagged in the posts.
Milivojevic’s Palace, meanwhile, were in action on Saturday afternoon when they beat Sheffield United.
Fulham posted a statement, which read: ‘Following further new positive results returned from the most recent Covid-19 tests, the Club can confirm that this Sunday’s away fixture at Burnley has been postponed after discussions with the Premier League and advice from medical teams.
‘Those who tested positive are self-isolating in line with UK Government and Premier League guidance.
‘The welfare of our players, staff and their families continue to be of paramount importance, and we wish those who have tested positive a safe and speedy recovery.’
Milivojevic was named captain for the game this weekend, something the Crystal Palace boss defended.
“In that respect we weren’t concerned about breaching any Premier League protocols and therefore I think it was correct Luka played the game,” Roy said.
“It was a question of him in his household having his fellow Serb Mitrovic round to join them, so that is a clear breach of coronavirus rules.
“We condemn it, we certainly apologise for it and I am sure Luka will as well. As far as I am concerned he must take full responsibility for that.
“It is an internal matter that we will deal with but as far as I am concerned there is nothing positive I can say on the matter.”
Tottenham and West Ham apologised after their players broke Tier 4 coronavirus rules.
They were pictured in a house with 11 other adults, two children and a baby.
Spurs said: “We’re extremely disappointed and strongly condemn this image showing some of our players with family and friends together at Xmas particularly as we know the sacrifices everybody around the country made to stay safe over the festive period.
The rules are clear, there are no exceptions, and we regularly remind all our players and staff about the latest protocols and their responsibilities to adhere and set an example. The matter will be dealt with internally.”
Fans reacted with Crystal Palace and Fulham to investigate concerning footage of Mitrovic and Milivojevic…
@OJB1905: Not captain material. Needs to lead by example. Surely Wilfried is the best option
Jinks_11: I actually find it mad that there always has to be someone filming whenever footballers have a do. Obviously people proper tight to them aswell, fucking freaks
@mattyadders: They literally get paid revolting amounts of money, get tested twice a week, and still F**k about like idiots. @FA should start dishing out 6 figure fine to the players, (money goes direct to NHS) and points deducted to clubs. Enough is enough
@FFCHarvey: Mitro sending us down after missing penalties and getting us a points deduction
@vikipotts: No but seriously what is wrong with these people? Thats what, 6 players we know of today alone?
@CharlieKeeble8: I’m sorry it’s only right that Mitro receives some sort of punishment for this if true
@Siyah_Beyaz_W: This is unacceptable, he is putting everyone at risk. I hope you will give him a huge fine for this @FulhamFC
@ObscureThing77: footballers are thick as shit
@PadihamSatirist: One of the reasons why the @BurnleyOfficial game was postponed! Pathetic!!!
@fulhamkelv: Oh no, looks bad. Bloody idiots!
@Elmihamza95: As an NHS worker: I have lost patients this week from covid-19. This is a complete disgrace, complete disgrace and a kick on the teeth especially when people are dying in the hundreds everyday. Selfish self centered footballers. @MattHancock this is a complete disgrace
@John_Meriwether: Can’t be Luka, he can go missing and hide for years without detection. Doesn’t like conflict and interaction. Ban him anyway.
@DeicherJacob: Give Wilfried the armband
@JMac00027: Hopefully they will finally drop him
@hitchp1: Why do it ?? And why film it and post it ?? ..
@Lyncpfc: Knowing Luka he was probably just trying to foul him
@Steve__Clare: It’s fake. Mitrovic never stays upright that long after contact with an opposition player.
@benjdsmith: Plus Milivojovic would have gone through the back of Mitrovics legs by now needlessly
Mitrovic and Milivojevic should receive bans for putting both squads at risk, embarrassing that that is our captain aswell.

No pay while he’s not able to play for the club and maybe sell on the back of this. We need players that have the clubs interests first and not their own. Footballers are not above the law and need the law to come down hard.

@CPFC Livid with this.players know the restrictions & Luka has stuck 2 fingers & done what he wanted 2 do.Not only has he compromised the Palace bubble, but could have passed it onto to a number of people working within the club if positive.Where wait & C what the club does here
