Charlton player Alex Gilbey, who is currently on loan at Stevenage, faces disciplinary action for singing an anti-Charlton chant.
The Addicks have a contract with the 28-year old midfielder until the end June, but it seems Gilbey may have momentarily forgotten about that after being filmed celebrating, singing with his fellow Stevenage teammates after the team had secured automatic promotion to League Two.
They could be heard chanting: “We hate Charlton”, with a video uploaded and was doing the rounds online before being deleted.
But still, footage remains online, after fans quickly got hold of it…

Gilbey could face a fine, with South London Press reporting that Addicks boss Dean Holden made aware of the clip.
They add that Holden felt that his behaviour was disrespectful to both the club and the fanbase, as they continue to pay part of his salary.
Gilbey linked up with Stevenage at the start of September and Charlton had a January recall clause inserted, but chose not to use it.
He played 44 times for Steve Evans’ promotion winning side and scored three goals to help them to a top three finish.
Another player axed from the Charlton squad is Macauley Bonne after the striker was spotted to have liked some Ipswich Town photos following their 6-0 demolition of the Addicks last month.
Bonne’s contract ends at the beginning of July, having terminated his contract with Queens Park Rangers back in January.
