This is what social media user said as the Carabao Cup Fourth Round draw is revealed…
@JackJoh98833490: brighton vs charlton get innn
@AJ_BHAFC: Really happy with that #CarabaoCup draw – brilliant how Man City meet Liverpool too. Always good to visit #CAFC on an away day. #BHAFC
@HypeTrainRob: None of the Championship or lower leagues club’s will face one another. Premier League teams very fortunate with the draw. Newcastle vs. Bournemouth (Eddie Howe derby) and City vs. Liverpool should both be crackers. #CarabaoCup
@PompeyKai: Arsenal, Chelsea, Spurs all already out and City or Liverpool will be out by round 5 whilst Scum get Lincoln at home. It’s not looking good brev
@APCAFC:
I’d rather #CAFC played a lower division side tbh
If we are going to go out to a Premier League side, it would’ve better to get a top 3 team.
Could well be a TV game though. No prizes for guessing the other one.
No doubt ‘Stand up if you hate Palarse’ will get an airing 😂😂
@Citehsznn: But but City only get easy draws
@Brandon_1884: Definitely an underdog going far in this competition after that draw
@thecartertoo: #NUFC trophy incoming? 🤔🤔
@bearemsyt: Blackburn vs Forest… is it happening? is the the unthinkable happening. When city or Liverpool are out only 2 big teams left in the cup… things might get interesting COYR!!!! 🔴⚪️🌲
@JJLozzer: Guarantee the two games on TV will be Man City V Liverpool and Man Utd V Burnley. And not the two League One sides at home to Premier League sides.
@TheZacRoberts: Chelsea, Tottenham, Arsenal and either City or Liverpool out before the QF’s… Burnley won’t be an easy game bearing in mind 75% of our squad may not be back after the World Cup, but this is one of the best chances at silverware we’ll get. Be a lovely start to the ETH era 🏆
@SCFCLuke1: Bournemouth at newcastle the week before Christmas, grueler
@TheCityGal: Vinny faces the rags. Come on Burnley. #CarabaoCup
@PMcginley7: 1 standout tie from the rest tbh. Also a very long trip for Bournemouth fans right before Christmas too
@AaronSlack01: Wolves, Southampton, Blackburn, Newcastle, Man City, Burnley, Leicester and Brighton to go through.
@aaron_challoner: #CarabaoCup #EFL #PremierLeague MK Dons or Charlton had BETTER get a television tie. The money for TV coverage would help the two clubs at their ground. I’m expecting City v Liverpool to probs be the TV tie but that cannot be the case or there needs to be another TV tie as well.
@craigylou: It’s like the community shield again to get the season back under way #CarabaoCup
@DamoDingle: Good game for Burnley against Utd. Added incentive for Kompany to get one over on them! #CarabaoCup
