Bristol City fans have been left angry after their club shop has been selling Easter eggs priced at £7.
Astonishingly, they have rebranded the cardboard sleeve slides off an Cadbury Easter egg which is on sale in shops nationwide for between £1 and £3.
Bristol Sport, based at the ground, is selling the eggs not just with the Championship side but also with Bristol Bears and Bristol Flyers, with different cardboard covers on.
One fan, Michael McGuinness, shared a photo he took on Twitter taken from inside a Bristol Sport shop with the cover slightly off with the Cadbury packaging revealed.
He stated: “Despite it being my club I’ve gotta bring this up.. @BristolCity selling £1 Easter eggs with a “Bristol city cardboard cover” for £7!?! SEVEN FUCKIN POUND!!!”

After being found out and get a huge amount if criticism online, Bristol Sport has declined to comment – according to BBC Sport – and the eggs are now no longer available from the online shop, despite other reports claiming there is a buy one get one half price offer.
The eggspensive prices don’t stop there as the club also sell a Toblerone bar for £12, without the cardboard sleeve, and just can be bought elsewhere for as little as £3.50.
